The Experience

!! I am specifically looking for a couple or single male for August to stay and take care of the farm as I visit family in the US.!! I have a worker that helps on the farm but I live alone. I am very flexible with the work you want to help with (earth moving and simple stone building). Anything from coffee, fruit harvesting. Building. Animal care. Etc. Etc. Etc. I live within walking distance of Genova.

Great location, property is a nice farm with a river nearby. Accommodation is decent. Work hours are respected and some tasks are physically demanding but you can do what suits your ability. Walking distance to Genova which is a chill farm town with coffee shops.

Ethan was a fantastic host that runs a great volunteer project. The rooms and facilities that are provided to volunteers are among the best that I've had while travelling and volunteering. His farm is situated in a beautiful part of Colombia. The work was physical but enjoyable and Ethan is super flexible when assigning tasks and is happy to let you work independently according to your set hours. I was really sad to leave his farm, would recommend 10/10.

Ethan was a great host who had a nice clear introduction to the project and daily tasks. Very friendly. You work on your own initiative on the farm doing various task's depending on what's needed. The conditions of the stay are lovely and I would highly recommend this volunteer opportunity. Genova is a nice town close to the volunteering who are quite welcoming. If you can't work under your own steam it may not be for you but if you like the outdoors and differing tasks this could be for you! We had a great stay and Ethan was super helpful with activities and all questions were answered!

This was my first work away experience and what an experience it was. It is located in a really sweet town in the middle of no where surrounded my mountains. Ethan is a lovely and relaxed guy who is happy to give you the work you feel capable of. The work and hours and really good and you can do what you are good at! Can't wait to come back some time, thanks Ethan!
