I had a great time at Mandala's. The host is very accommodating and always willing to work with your schedule. The workload is easy and I had plenty of free time to visit other parts of the lake/Guatemala. The hostel itself was very clean and cozy and I always felt safe in San Pedro, even walking around alone at night. Met a lot of great people during my time here and was very sad to go. Definitely recommend!

The hostel has been my home away from home. The team that works at the hostal were super welcoming and San Pedro is an amazing town stay in and use as a home base. I've loved my time here and the people I've met. The hostal itself is super cozy and the people that come and stay are great travelers.

I really liked to work at the hostel. It's a cozy hostel and the people here are super friendly - which helps a lot to feel a bit like home during travelling. The work is easy and you have plenty of time to do fun activities and explore the area of the lake. I can honestly recommend volunteering here :)
