The Experience

We are a hostel in the heart of Barcelona that recently opened, this 2022. We started this new project between 4 friends with the aim of offering a warm and close stay to our guests and volunteers. Located in a beautiful typical Barcelona Art-Nouveau building, we want to create a home atmosphere and excellent service. We enjoy meeting and learning from different people and cultures, which is why we do everything with great care and dedication

My experience at the hostel was excellent! The location is amazing, you can explore many places just by walking. The hostel is beautiful and provides a great environment to connect with volunteers from all over the world. Antonella is very kind and always willing to help!

Volunteering at this hostel was an amazing experience. The location was great, in a nice and well-connected area. I met people from all over the world and made friendships I'll never forget. There were quite a few tasks, but they were well organized, which made everything smoother. On my days off, I explored Barcelona's famous spots and enjoyed the city's lively vibe. I became more confident and gained valuable experience, which really helped improve my social skills. I truly recommend this experience!

The hostel it's a very nice place with a very nice and cozy environment! Antonella is very nice and I was always able to talk with her about any situation, like shift time or anything. The schedule it self it's almost every time respected. I had fun during the breakfast shift and the cleaning is quiet easy to do! It was also super nice to be able to speak in Spanish with some Spanish native speakers! The location is amazing, perfect in the city center and just next to the metro station. I recommend 100%!! Hasta pronto the hostel! 🫶🏻

This is a hostel I would like to recommend to everyone. This hostel is clean and has the advantage of being able to use a room for two volunteers. The small amount of ingredients provided every week helped me save a lot on food costs. Sometimes, working in the morning to prepare breakfast is hard, so I have to rest in the afternoon. However, if I adapt, I can guarantee my free time whenever I want. Antonella, she is a really generous and nice person. She tried her best to adjust my schedule. I will also never forget the good friends I made at the hostel. I miss you all already🫶🏻

My time at B-Garden was really wonderful, I met a great crew of people and got to stay in a perfect location in Barcelona right in the center of town. Many of the staff and co-volunteers speak Spanish which helped me improve my Spanish super rapidly. I appreciated that it's a lowkey hostel (more like a hotel!) so I didn't feel pressure party or socialize all the time. If you're working abroad (ie digital nomad) this spot is perfect for you! Thanks B-Garden for the great memories!
