Jorge is a wonderfull host with a lot of energy and care for his volunteers! He is able to provde all the answers you seeking for regarding Agave and the organization production and beyond. Despite it was my first farm work experience, I found all tasks doable but challenging :) thanks to Jorge and other volunteers who were sharing the same motivation it became hard but fun teamwork to be involved. I reccomend if you are going to volunteer ask Jorge which tasks you will perform and prepare yourself menthally and physically ( sleep and proper outfit).

From social impact to thorough knowledge about the organization, from connection with Nature to immersion in local culture, from experiencing a wonderful team to living in a non-touristic Mexican city, this is one of my best volunteering experiences if not the best! Work starts early and it is hard but if you are a hard-worker with ideally some experience in the field, be sure that this experience will give you back more than you can imagine in terms of emotions, knowledge and of course, the organization. Last but not least, Jorge and Ale are great hosts, extremely helpful and understanding.

Surely one of the best experiences I have ever had and an admirable project led by Jorge! I can only recommend the organization, the work on the farm can be intense but you know why you do it! If you want to be close to the locals and know Mexico, go for it! A volunteering that makes sense! The city of Miahuatlan is not big but it has everything you need for a great stay! You can also easily travel during your free days. Thanks again, I hope to come back one day!

I absolutely loved my stay at the organization. The work is very diverse, you get to see, do and learn a lot of different things in the community and regarding the organization farming. It was a very authentic, local and profound experience for me. The farming is definitely hard and sometimes monotonous/draining, but Jorge is an amazing host and manages to make everyone feel heard and welcome and find solutions together. He also took us to meet lots of interesting and inspiring people and I am very grateful for this opportunity. Thank you so much for everything and all the best for the future!

I had an absolutely amazing time volunteering at the agave farm in this beautiful rural community. The setting during farm days is peaceful, surrounded by stunning landscapes, and it's a fantastic place to truly connect with nature and local culture. The work was both fulfilling and educational. I learned so much about the agave cultivation process, from planting to harvesting, and I had the chance to try my hand at different tasks. The team was incredibly welcoming, and I felt like part of the family from day one. They were always patient, happy to share their knowledge. Thank you Jorge!!

This was an amazing experience and my first Worldpackers! I would highly recommend this opportunity, it's definitely hard work but also super rewarding. It's a great way to learn about the organization ( the amount i learnt in 3 weeks is insane!) and Spanish as the area is really non-touristy I found the work to be really well rounded with opportunity's to do farm and social work each week. The 3 days weekends are also amazing as you get to see the surrounding areas if you wish. The whole experience felt really authentic and was amazing from start to finish! Thank you Jorge :)

Okay, this is my best World Packer experience so far. Miahuatlán is a small and safe little town that doesn't have much to do, but Jorge arranges a lot of activities to do after work, I love the language exchange Wo do every Wednesday you can talk to the locals and they are all so patient toward my broken Spanish. Jorge always tried his best to let the volunteers immerse themselves in the local community and introduce us to different people. Work is tough and hard not for everyone, this is real farm work not just the same places for people to take some pictures and go.

I really enjoyed my 3 weeks at the organization! This is a great project for anyone who want to learn more about the local life in Mexico and of course about the organization. The farm days are hard, but you will feel satisfied when the day is finished, it's so rewarding. Jorge, the host, is amazing and he really puts in effort for us volunteers to have a good time and learn as much as possible. I highly recommend this for anyone who want to make a difference, learn and meet like minded travelers.
