I came to the host thinking I would only be cleaning and repairing, but after meeting João, Robson, and the rest of the volunteers, I felt so welcomed and included that I was happy to pitch-in wherever I could. They had me helping serve customers in the restaurant which was great for my Portuguese practice, and they were very generous with meals and other fun activites outside of work. In the two and a half weeks I was there, we went on two waterfall hikes and a daytrip to get the know the local area. The location is a paradise, and the group really felt like a family. Can't wait to return!

Gostei tanto que acabei estendendo a experiência no anfitrião e foi muito bom! Robinho e João são ótimas pessoas e muito carinhosos. Santo Hilário é um lugar isolado mas muito lindo e com vistas exuberantes. Foi muito enriquecedor os aprendizados obtidos com os anfitriões e com os outros voluntários que vão ficar no meu coração para sempre, Nicoly e Gabi são ótimas companhias e melhoraram a experiência com suas parcerias. Indico a área externa para quem gosta de rastelar, capinar, cuidar de galinhas, etc.

O tempo que passei no anfitrião foi extremamente enriquecedor! O João e o Robinho são sensacionais, muito pacientes, amigáveis e justos. Como se não bastasse Santo Hilário é um lugar lindo, com cachoeiras próximas e ótimas vistas. É uma experiência maravilhosa que recomendo para todos que estejam pensando passar um tempo em um lugar mais calmo.

The host é uma energia surreal, magnífico de lindo... Muitos aprendizados, tanto no coletivo quanto no pessoal. Tive oportunidades de aprender outras coisas além do que foi proposto, João, grazi e mique uns queridos sempre fazem de tudo pra ser uma boa experiência. Eu amei estar aqui em frente ao mar de minas e com as companhias dos doguinhos sempre nas trilhas, cachoeiras etc... Quem vier venha de coração aberto pra aprender muito! 🫶🏻 Santo Hilário tem meu coração.
