I had a really good experience in the lodge. I enjoyed my stay and I could learn a lot of interesting things. I felt really comfortable with the environtment and the treatment I recived. You need to be flexible with the work's schedule and the tasks you have to do, but you can always talk with Igor, and you will find a solution together. So grateful for all this great experience :))

Being in this place was a very good experience, where we learned to do different jobs and helped in what was needed. We could relate to the Balkan culture. Been in the farm was a truly unique and amazing experience. I really like to be in this place and contributed with some work while interacting with nature. The tasks are always different and sometimes are physically demanding but normally are easy. You're going to sleep in a tent that's apart of the main house but in general it's a ok place to sleep. Igor and Marina are really nice hosts and actually we feel really welcome there while you interact daily with them. Sometimes you have to help with the horses so it's better to you no be afraid of them.

Volunteering in the lodge was a truly amazing experience! I made great connections with both the volunteers and workers. Working hours are respected, as well as rest days. the lodge is a very isolated place and travelling around can be difficult, but it was refreshing to be so isolated! I am vegetarian and was accommodated for well and ate delicious meals every day. In terms of the work, it was slightly different to what was described on the description, but the work was still enjoyable and I learnt valuable skills to do with construction. Igor is a very nice man and a perfect host for volunteers!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it was largely positive. My main tasks were cooking, doing dishes, various cleaning up around the property, and helping with a construction project. There was some heavy physical work but that's what I wanted. I enjoyed working with the local guys and foreign volunteers. This was really the kind of place where you had to just jump in and do what was needed--the property was being developed when I was there (late May 2023). Things were changing a lot, and I'm glad I could help with that. There were plenty of chances to interact with horses!
