I felt very comfortable, Mariana always made sure we didn't lack anything and you could always talk to her if you wanted something or had any other problems. You live in a cozy caravan, which can get very cold in the evenings, but you have enough blankets to cover yourself. The working hours are very fair and the work is exciting but not challenging. You live very far out in nature, but if you love nature and horses, then this is the perfect place for you. I can recommend this experience 100%.

I can only recommend staying at the farm! Everyone there is very sweet and will help you with whatever you need. You can always come to them and they will help no matter what. You live in a caravan, but it has everything you need. There are a lot of beautiful nature and you can walk to the village. All the horses and animals are really good taken care of and the dogs loves cuddles🐶 The work is really easy and they will teach you how to do it and help you. Even when Marianna and Pedro has a lot to do every day, they will make sure that you have everything you need🫶🏻

I had a great time at the farm- Pedro, Mariana and Lise were all so lovely. They normally always have two volunteers as the farm is quite remote, but the other cancelled last minute - so they really tried their best to involve me in their lives and make sure I wasn't alone! The horses are all lovely and very well looked after, as well as 11 dogs and a cat as well. There are lots of nice walks in the area and the waterfall is amazing. Accommodation is in a caravan opposite to the house and stable and they provide food for you to cook in the caravan. I also had some riding lessons too!!

This was my first volunteer trip and it was fantastic! The host gets to know the volunteers a lot and tries to make sure they have everything they need. The farm is very cozy and there are lots of animals . The animals are in good condition and love to cuddle, especially the dogs. Some of the highlights I did apart from the farm was see ruins from a castle, two waterfalls, walks in the nature, go to cafe and visit their church. Sometimes you can also get a lift from the host. When it comes to the work, it is very easy and you get clear instructions and help with what to do.

I had a really good first volunteer experience at the farm! The whole family was always super nice to me and everyone was always willing to help. The work is very easy and simple once you get into the rhythm and the animals are all lovely and very well taken care of! You'll have a lot of free time to read, go to the waterfalls or the main town and just enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds the farm. I really hope I can someday go back to this place that brought me so much peace and happiness♥️

I had a lovely first volunteer experience with Mariana and Pedro! They take good care of the horses and the dogs. The caravan is really cozy and the working hours are good once you learn how things work. All the given tasks are really easy to learn especially if you are comfortable and confident when working with horses. The nature there is so beautiful and it's a perfect opportunity to escape from a busy city life! I'm already missing the place (and the dogs and the horses) and I really wish to be back one day <3

Being at the farm means surrounding yourself with beautiful untouched nature, many lovely animals and nice people! Pedro and Mariana are great hosts that do everything to make you feel comfortable&welcomed and you can ask/talk about anything. I enjoyed my time there a lot, being able to discover the surroundings during your free time. I never got bored even though it is pretty quite up there. The working hours are more than fine and I got to experience severe weather during my stay - first a lot of sunshine and in the end even snow😃I wish all the best for you and your horses 🫶🏽

I felt really welcomed in my 4 weeks at the farm. In april we had everything weatherwise: Tanning at the waterfalls with nearly 30 degrees and watching the snow fall from our cozy caravan. I am so grateful for the experiences and the friends I made. Would definitely recommend!!

I cannot recommend a volunteering experience more! Mariana and Pedro are incredible hosts, so understanding and welcoming. The hours are exactly as agreed and tasks were explained so clearly. There's a lot of free time but so much to do and Mariana and Pedro gave us loads of ideas and recommendations. I learnt so much, about horses and their care but also generally about kindness and responsibility. Thank you thank you thank you💞

I had a great time at Ecotoura! The caravan where i stayed was very cozy and had everything you need. The work included cleaning and feeding in the morning ( about 2-3 hours), feeding during the day (half an hour) and feeding in the evening (1 hour). There were also some extra tasks i had to do, e.g. sorting hay or walking horses out in the Mountains, which weren't hard but took some time. The horses and dogs were both really cute and well taken care of. Pedro and Lise were also helping with the work a lot, Mariana also helped when she had time.
