I had the best experience visiting here! Mariana and Pedro welcomed me very warmly, always helped and answered all my questions—everything was very well organized and went smoothly. The work here was definitely not hard, and I also had plenty of free time to enjoy the stunning nature surrounding this place. If you are a nature and animal lover, I highly recommend coming here! A big thank you to Mariana and Pedro—sending my best wishes! I really hope I'll get the chance to come back!

I had a wonderful experience. Pedro and Mariana are very kind and attentive, always making sure you're comfortable. The work is simple, well explained, and the hours are respected, leaving you with plenty of free time to relax and explore. The caravan is cozy, warm and well-equipped, surrounded by beautiful scenery, animals, hiking trails, and even waterfalls. The horses are very well taken care of, and I learned a lot about them during my stay—even got to enjoy a riding lesson. 🥰

My experience was generally alright. When I arrived the weather was bad and the van was poorly insulated resulting in wet bedding. I spent the first night on the couch inside the house. Due to the weather I couldn't do much for a few days but it improved later allowing me to take a riding lesson from Pedro. The other volunteer had left early so I was alone and didn't feel involved in the daily life of others. I had hoped for more inclusion given the circumstances. These things led me to leave after one week instead of staying two. The work with the horses was enjoyable, and the area is scenic.

Our schedule is set so there are always two volunteers, but due to others leaving early for selfish reasons, your stay was already affected. Sadly, your early departure also left the next volunteer alone, continuing the issue. We ask volunteers to consider the impact of their decisions, because this is what happens in real life , our own decisions can affect negatively other people.. We're glad you enjoyed the horses and scenery. Best wishes.

My experience at the farm was pretty good. The girl who was supposed to be there with me (for 2 weeks) left because of a family emergency. That definitely changed the whole experience. The weather was bad most of the time, which made me campervan bound. I felt pretty lonely and not included in what Mariana, Pedro and Lise were doing. I had expected a more inclusive environment as I was all alone. The work was easy for me, only about 3-4hrs a day. You can definitely explore the area but if it rains or snows of course that's harder to do. I would recommend if it's summer and with someone.

We understand that the departure of the other volunteer influenced your stay- We aim to have two volunteers at a time to ensure better experiences. Regarding your feeling of not being included, we truly value each volunteer’s individuality therefore we create space for people to approach us and express their needs. At the same time, we try not to overwhelm anyone and allow room for rest and personal time, which can sometimes be interpreted differently depending on expectations.

I felt very comfortable, Mariana always made sure we didn't lack anything and you could always talk to her if you wanted something or had any other problems. You live in a cozy caravan, which can get very cold in the evenings, but you have enough blankets to cover yourself. The working hours are very fair and the work is exciting but not challenging. You live very far out in nature, but if you love nature and horses, then this is the perfect place for you. I can recommend this experience 100%.

I can only recommend staying at the farm! Everyone there is very sweet and will help you with whatever you need. You can always come to them and they will help no matter what. You live in a caravan, but it has everything you need. There are a lot of beautiful nature and you can walk to the village. All the horses and animals are really good taken care of and the dogs loves cuddles🐶 The work is really easy and they will teach you how to do it and help you. Even when Marianna and Pedro has a lot to do every day, they will make sure that you have everything you need🫶🏻

I had a great time at the farm- Pedro, Mariana and Lise were all so lovely. They normally always have two volunteers as the farm is quite remote, but the other cancelled last minute - so they really tried their best to involve me in their lives and make sure I wasn't alone! The horses are all lovely and very well looked after, as well as 11 dogs and a cat as well. There are lots of nice walks in the area and the waterfall is amazing. Accommodation is in a caravan opposite to the house and stable and they provide food for you to cook in the caravan. I also had some riding lessons too!!

This was my first volunteer trip and it was fantastic! The host gets to know the volunteers a lot and tries to make sure they have everything they need. The farm is very cozy and there are lots of animals . The animals are in good condition and love to cuddle, especially the dogs. Some of the highlights I did apart from the farm was see ruins from a castle, two waterfalls, walks in the nature, go to cafe and visit their church. Sometimes you can also get a lift from the host. When it comes to the work, it is very easy and you get clear instructions and help with what to do.

I had a really good first volunteer experience at the farm! The whole family was always super nice to me and everyone was always willing to help. The work is very easy and simple once you get into the rhythm and the animals are all lovely and very well taken care of! You'll have a lot of free time to read, go to the waterfalls or the main town and just enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds the farm. I really hope I can someday go back to this place that brought me so much peace and happiness♥️

I had a lovely first volunteer experience with Mariana and Pedro! They take good care of the horses and the dogs. The caravan is really cozy and the working hours are good once you learn how things work. All the given tasks are really easy to learn especially if you are comfortable and confident when working with horses. The nature there is so beautiful and it's a perfect opportunity to escape from a busy city life! I'm already missing the place (and the dogs and the horses) and I really wish to be back one day <3
