I stayed at the hostel for one month and it was an amazing expirience. You feel very welcomed since the first day you arrive and you quickly adapt to the enviorment. The tasks demanded are not that difficult, so on your free time, you can disconnect and enjoy its beautiful sorroundings. I highly recommend the hostel if you enjoy nature.

One of the best experiences of my life, I just left and can't wait to go back. the hostel has been like living a dream to me. The lake, the mountains, the sheep, the friendships I made, the beers!! just perfect. Yes it's remote, but if you enjoy being surrounded by nature and hiking it is the right place for you. Clifden is close by and you can go back to Galway during free days. The work is manageable and fun - we mainly did prepping for the upcoming opening season. Staff even has its own area, with a cozy living room, bathroom and bedroom. Kitchen is huge. I truly love this place ❤️

My stay at the hostel was very nice! I met super nice people and was able to get to know Connemara. The place is very rural, but if you like nature and hikes it is the perfect place!

My experience at the hostel was really nice. I was able to practice my English while also learning new skills. Naseem and the other volunteers made me feel welcomed right away. The work, since it got close to the off season, was easily accomplished. It's perfect if you want to spend time in the nature!!

Situated in the middle of no where with a great lake view and a mountain in the back yard! It's lovely and lively. It's easy to get to Clifden for groceries and Galway for our days off. The work is simple and well orchestrated. Everyone is so welcoming ❤️ It's a great place to rest, meet people and surround yourself in Irish nature!

I had so much fun at the hostel!!! The staff were so welcoming and i felt at home right away. It's very remote so won't be for everyone, but we had lots of free time to relax and hang out with other volunteers. Would definitely recommend!!

I had a lovely time at the hostel! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the hostel has good facilities (and staff have their own living area which is a nice bonus), and in general the guests are nice too. The hostel offers a cozy, laidback atmosphere. The only thing I would say is that the hostel is very remote, so please keep that in mind when considering whether it would be a good fit for you. My time at the hostel was really good! The hostel is quite remote but there is still lots to do & if you love being surrounded by nature this experience is perfect for you. The hours & tasks were as explained & very manageable. The hosts were very welcoming & kind. I'd definitely recommend :)

I didn't see the time go by as it was such a great experience. It's a good place to practise English and meet people. You feel at home, the hostel is surrounded by sheep, fields and mountains: a very peaceful place. I definitly recommand this experience !!!
