The Experience

Permaculture. Healthy & delicious food. Meditation. Music. Nature Immersion - are key aspects of our Nature Retreat Center in the mountains. We are hosting Solitude Retreats and need help with cooking fresh farm-to-table food, washing dishes & cleaning (mandatory). Beyond that you can choose to help with: gardening/farming, construction, art, social media, etc. Volunteers should be physically fit, proactive and able to work independently.

My stay at the project was more than I thought it would be. I have learned so much about living a permaculture life. Not only do you have the resources you need to live and survive, but you will brings nature back to its original, thriving state. Guillermo and Manuela are both wonderful, inviting and loving people who made me feel welcomed the moment I met them. They made my experience feel like…home. I felt like I was able to answer some inner questions I have been seeking through solitude, soothing sounds, and beautiful scenery. Thank you for an amazing first trip abroad! 🤍

Describing this experience is challenging; words can't fully convey its greatness. Collaborating with Manuela in the kitchen, using farm-fresh produce, was a delightful blast. During my three-week stay, I learned extensively about permaculture from Guillermo and Manuela, discussing over shared meals the highlight. The charming animals and diverse projects, from gardens to a new cabin, added depth to my stay. It wasn't just a work exchange; it was the creation of meaningful connections. I'll surely return to relive this extraordinary experience.

Manuela and Guillermo are very welcoming hosts! They are very open minded and kind people! I had a great time staying with them for two weeks and wish I could have stayed longer. The volunteering experience is great you get to cook every meal, help with the gardening in the green house and the land all the while learning about permaculture techniques to make the land more fertile. The place is really remote which is amazing as you are completely immersed in nature and you can even walk down to their private waterfall!!

I can highly recommend the lodge as a place to disconnect from the noises of our everyday world and get back in touch with yourself through being immersed in breathtaking nature. Manu and Guillermo are a beautiful and conscious couple that made me feel so welcomed and free to explore the different jobs on the farm. I got really inspired to apply some of the principles and daily rituals into my life.

Our experience was fantastic! The place is surrounded by nature and millions of animals. We slept in a cosy place contacted to the nature. What was wonderful and comfy. The food was just incredible! We never eat such delicious food plus super healthy and home made. We mostly helped with gardening, planting tree's, cooking and in our free time we enjoyed the private waterfall, night walks or bonfire. Thank you so much for that experience and your lovely host.
