Hours per week: Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Somos un hostel en el centro de Coyhaique, nos encanta la buena onda y ofrecer un lugar de encuentro para todos nuestros huéspedes. Buscamos a alguien sociable que nos pueda ayudar principalmente en recepción y algunas tareas de limpieza Te ofrecemos una casa calientita, flexibilidad horaria y dos días libres a la semana al menos. Somos un equipo pequeño en busca de nuevos integrantes para nuestra familia :) Escríbenos!

I will surely remember this experience for all of my life... We were welcomed as part of the team since the start and we finished leaving as friends 😍 Thanks to Aly, Marco and Marta for their smiles and their attention during all the volunteering. We've been able to work and help them, and we could have free time to visit the main points next to Coyhaique. We met amazing people from the staff and we could share experiences with all the travellers we met. I really hope to see you again guys ! I wish you the best ❤

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y mi experiencia fue muy buena, se respeto todo lo acordado y sentí que fue intercambio beneficioso para ambas partes pero sin duda lo que hizo mi experiencia memorable fueron mis colegas Agustín y Jenifer, ellos siempre tuvieron la mejor disposición y me ayudaron mucho cuando los turnos se complicaban, sin duda hubiese sido una experiencia totalmente distinta sin ellos, por otro lado Coyhaique esta en el centro de la región de Aysén en el corazon de la Patagonia Chilena y hay mucha naturaleza para disfrutar, sin duda es un buen lugar para hacer un voluntariado.

Tuve una buena experiencia en el hostel Backpackers, conocí amigos para toda la vida. El hostel está bien ubicado, cerca del terminal de autobuses y el mercado. Las instalaciones son adecuadas, solo me sorprendió hacer más limpieza de lo acordado, lo que creo que retrasó un poco mi proceso de aprendizaje con respecto al sistema utilizado en la recepción, ya que tuve poca práctica. La limpieza es pesada, incluso teniendo una señora de la limpieza, los domingos, por ejemplo, el voluntario necesita encargarse. En resumen, es una experiencia valiosa, pero prepárate para un trabajo físico. :)

Resumiendo :) mi experiencia como voluntaria en Patagón Backpackers superó mis expectativas. Recibí mucho más de lo que esperaba en términos de aprendizaje, conexión con otras personas y la oportunidad de contribuir en un entorno acogedor y amigable. El hostel cuenta con buena infraestructura, limpio y esta central. Ari, Agustín, Alina y Sonia fueron parte de esta primera experiencia voluntariando, con quienes compartí y aprendí de ellos. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que esté buscando una experiencia única y gratificante en la Patagonia.

Nuestro voluntariado en Patagón Backpackers fué muy agradable. Tanto Alyn como Ari nos recibieron muy bien y nos hicieron sentir en casa. Las tareas eran sencillas, aprendimos a utilizar el sistema de reservas, lo cual nos servirá en caso de voluntariados similares en el futuro. El hostel es muy cálido, cómodo y agradable 😄 y queda en una zona muy accesible de Coyhaique. Agradecemos muchísimo nuestro tiempo allí 💕
