Help with English lessons in a free school near Siem Reap!

Volunteering at the school was such an incredible experience. the school and his family are the kindest people and will really make you feel at home. It was a privilege to teach the enthusiastic the school children and contribute to their learning. Living in the village is an amazing way to experience the true the school ways of life and you will see so much nature here. The food was also so good as we were provided with a variety of traditional dishes and fresh fruit each day. I will always treasure my experience at PCEF. It is a very special place and I feel lucky to have contributed to it

The school and Saivong made us feel so welcome like we were part of their family. We were unwell the first few days of our stay and they took such good care of us. Saivong made the most incredible meals every day and I will really miss her cooking! the school's children and the children at the school were always so eager to learn and so happy to meet new volunteers, it felt so rewarding being with them. I would recommend this position to anyone! :)

From the start, the school and his family were very welcoming and kind. There is no better place to learn about khmer culture. Everyone was super nice. The classes are really easy. The children are always happy to meet new volunteers and happy to learn. I hope I get to come back and volunteer at PCEF again someday.

Sarah was a fabulous volunteer for our school. She showed complete commitment to us and her students, taking care of her lesson plans and helping the students to gain confidence in their ability to speak English.

The host,the school,was present in the airport to give a big smile with his tuktuk.He was present with his 10 years daughter Tiya.He is always with his family members,as he is always with his volunteers for any problems and during happy time. The place to live in is a village set up and nearly tooks 75minutes to reach.The rooms are made of wooden and steel structure and given with all necessary items.But above all PCEF team members are ready to response for your any requirements. From day one we have been very welcomed by PCEF family. The children are simply perfect! You can see they want to learn as much as possible and when you play with them in or out the classroom, the expressions in their faces are priceless. The School is in a pretty village, where you can bycicle around endless rice fields, see buffaloes and beautiful sunset. We are taking with us a lifetime experience as well as plenty of recipes from the Superwoman Vong Leng who is a fantastic cooker and teacher. Nous sommes restés, en couple, à l'école pendant deux semaines. Nous étions 5 bénévoles en tout. Tout d'abord l'accueil par la famille est exemplaire. Ils font du mieux qu'ils peuvent pour nous mettre à l'aise et font en sorte qu'on se sente bien chez eux. Nous avions une chambre pour nous. La famille parle bien anglais ce qui permet de beaucoup échanger. Concernant les cours nous avions 4 classes de niveaux différents. Les élèves sont charmants, les professeurs aidant et l'école est disponible si vous avez des questions. Pour conclure nous recommandons à 100%. Merci à l'école et à sa famille.

Hermosa experiencia haber compartido estos dias con unos niños que son un amor en la escuelita. Tan educados comprometidos con aprender y cariñosos! la escuela y su familia son personas hermosas que desde el primer momento te reciben y te suman a su familia. Están muy atentos a que te sientas cómoda y bien. Gracias por todo ! Ojalá mucha gente se sume a voluntariar y apoyen esta causa que tiene mucho esfuerzo y amor por parte de la escuela familia y maestros!

Experiência transformadora! Durante o processo a escola foi muito atencioso e, no dia a dia, ele buscava saber se estava tudo certo! Além disso, Souvin, foi uma ótima companhia durante os dias em que estive lá! Ele também estava sempre disposto ajudar e a contar sobre a vida na comunidade, tivemos trocas muito boas! As crianças da vila era muito acolhedoras e podíamos sempre brincar com elas! Sem falar nas crianças da casa que foram muito carinhosas! E a melhor parte: as aulas! As crianças eram tão dedicadas e tornaram tudo ainda mais especial! Valeu muito a pena!
