I enjoyed my time at Huitzilin so much! 4 weeks pass by very fast and all the other volunteers and the manager were great people. I will miss them! The work was easy and very manageable, there was enough time to explore Puerto. The hostel has a nice area to relax and socialize. The location in Zicatela is great, as you are kind of in the middle of Puerto and can reach La Punta or Centro by Colectivo very fast and its only 5 minutes down to the beach to watch the amazing sunset. All in all I would recommend volunteering at Huitzilin if you are looking for a relaxed and amazing experience!

The hostel is super well located. There's good food, the beach, the bus stop and lots os clubs around. The pool here is amazing, some days you don't even feel like leaving the hostel. The job is ok, 5 hours a day and you can enjoy Puerto Escondido like no one else. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing time at Huitzilin Hostal! The whole crew felt like a little family, the hostel is very peaceful and cute and is such a nice space to gather and meet other travellers. The communication with both managers and volunteers is very straightforward and the job is a lot of fun and chill. Everything we agreed on was respected and everyone showed a lot of flexibility when needed. I would 100% recommend to stay and volunteer in this little paradise :) thank you for this experience 💛

My experience at Huitzilin Hostel was very positive! The environment is peaceful and well located. The tasks are simple and organized, which allowed me to enjoy my free time. The team was always respectful and welcoming, I felt comfortable throughout my stay. It was a great opportunity for exchange and connection with amazing people. I'm truly grateful for the experience!

Good location, amazing facilities, amazing foods and a very chill and good atmosphere. Volunteering at Huitzilin was what I was looking for, a chil place to enjoy Puerto, having the chance either to make good friends, relax listening to music close to the pool or getting a nice night out with wonderful people.
