Lannie is full of vigor and life despite her 70+ years, and she puts this down to the wholesome food she grows and cooks, and living in the depths of nature without access to electricity, flushing toilets/running water or the Internet. Lani, the owner of this farm is such a lovely person and you get to learn a lot about your connecting with the nature and spirituality. The little farm is very off-grid but very cute and peaceful with a lot of animals around. The only negative thing I have to say is that there is not a lot of things to do so sometimes it was a little bit boring but fair to say, we only have been there for 2 days, so maybe we would have had more work on the other days. All in all it is a perfect place to find yourself and grow with your own company. :)

I had a very good time at this place. Lannie, the owner, is a very kind and interesting person. She has a lot of wisdom about how to live in harmony with nature, gardening and growing it's own food. I learned a lot about plants, animals and nature in general. There are a lot of different animals living on the farm too. So there is always something to do. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I totally recommend this place to everybody who is in search of a place for calming down from everyday life and re-connecting with nature.

This is a best place where you can chill, gain such a lot of information about health and live in a real nature. Plus enjoy really tasty organic meals! But be prepared for a few things. Work is super easy, you work less than 5 hours, but the duties are spread into the whole day. There is no proper shower (you bath in a river) no proper toilet. However everything is super clean. There is also no electricity and internet connection. But hey! You are in the beautiful nature so just enjoy the nature and yourself! Thank you Lanie for such a good experience

Disfrute los días aquí, gracias Lannie por tus enseñanzas, por ser sincera y respetar el espacio, la naturaleza en sí. Ojalá el mundo tuviera más personas como vos, conectados un poco más con lo real. QDesde mi lugar, desde algo tan básico como estar sin zapatos y poder respirar aire puro fue lo que necesitaba para pode conectarme conmigo misma y sentirme mejor. Gracias también a mis compañeros voluntarios como las personas que conocí locales, que transmitieron muy buena energía. Y obviamente mis hermanos los animales, fundamentales para mí. Muchas gracias por esta experiencia que no olvidaré!

Es una experiencia única. Cuando llegas, de un entorno urbanita, te chocará la primera impresión, pero si te dejas llevar y te sumerges en la experiencia, resulta muy atractiva, luego cuesta irse. Lannie es carismática y experimentada, tiene millones de historias que compartir y hace que te sientas muy bien, además te cuida, preparándote desayunos y almuerzos muy buenos y saludables. No puedo dejar de hablar de Mani, el perro que, con cara de pillín, hay que sacar a pasear, ya que es un poco travieso y no puede estar suelto como el resto de la familia. ¡La experiencia merece la pena!

El haber trabajando con Leanny en su granja fué una experiencia maravillosa. Ella es una gran persona y hace sentir como de la familia, sus comidas veganas muy saludables orgánicas Conecté con la naturaleza al 💯. Si quieres estar fuera de la cuidad y conectar con la naturaleza se los recomiendo

Lannie transmite los valores de la naturaleza y de la vida simple en primera persona. Te muestra una forma de vida alejada de la sociedad y del mundo exterior donde los protagonistas son los animales y la biodiversidad. Recomiendo este voluntariado solo si tienes pensado pasar unos días o semanas alejado literalmente de todo. De lo contrario, es un lugar que se encuentra relativamente lejos del pueblo Bribri (40min andando) siendo así difícil tener acceso a electricidad y señal wifi. Es complicado emparejar el tiempo del voluntariado con cualquier otro tipo de actividad. 🙏🏼

La experiencia fue chocante al principio, pero gracias a todas las personas involucradas en el proyecto nos sentimos acogidas :) recomendaría esta experiencia a gente interesada en estar muy en contacto con la naturaleza, pero no para gente que quiera aprovechar para visitar lugares de costa rica, ya que las tareas se distribuyen a lo largo del día y se dan dos días libres por semana. pero buena comida, gracias a todxs :)
