This was my first volunteer experience, and it was a wonderful one. I learned a lot and had the chance to contribute to various tasks at the hostel, which helped me develop new skills. It was very rewarding to be part of the team and contribute to the environment. Lili and Dusko were fair and kind people, always willing to help with everything I needed. I wish them and their daughters all the best. I am very grateful for the opportunity and excited to apply what I've learned in future experiences.

It was such a great volunteer with a beatiful family, they received us as part of theirs. Lily and Dusko are extremely kind and generous, we are so happy we choose this place. The work is straight forward and the schedules as we agreed. The accomodation is very comfortable and the village very beautiful to explore and spend nice moments. Highly recomended experience for solo or couples, looking to explore Montenegro.

I spent a month with the Skada Laker Family and had a lot of work, but all the effort was rewarded with beautiful landscapes, meeting blocal people who became my friends, and being with Lilli and Dusko's family was also a gift to me. Dusko, despite his more reserved demeanor, was always attentive and concerned about my well-being. Lilli was honest about the work from the start. She respects the schedule, does everything to make you feel comfortable, and is always

Being at the guest house have been a lot of fun! Lilli and Dusko and their family are lovely, funny and welcoming people. It is perfect if you want to spent time in nature before or after your shift. The only regrets I have are not learning any of the language before arriving (to communicate easier with all the locals) and not staying longer!

I had a great stay at the guest house. Lily and her family are sweet, loving and embracing. Its a bit chaotic in a fun way. The children run around playing and trying to help out, guest come and go and you will see yourself doing a little bit of everything. It's a lot of work and a very energetic place which I personally find good but if you don't have the energy for it it might not be the best place for you. The room provided was very good. The surroundings are beautiful and there are a lot of hiking trails to do in your free time.

The village is such a lovely place! It was what I was looking for, a remote place near a river and surrounded by mountains. The host family was respectful and we shared nice conversations. I was lucky to encounter a business partner of the host who took me along with his family to visit Durmitor ^^. Lili, thank you for having me, I wish you and your family the best!

The experience for me had its ups and downs, and unfortunately, the space here is limited for me to fairly include all the positive and negative points. I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know the region by hitchhiking around the village and being in contact with the local nature and culture. I wish the best for Lili and her family. Montenegro will always be in my heart 💕

If you're looking for a place to relax and to be in connection with nature, this is the place. Work varies in intensity depending on the busyness of the restaurant/hotel. The shifts are flexible, and they respect time off. Its possible to do activities in the village, like hiking, kayaking and swimming, or just spend time with the locals, but traveling to other cities can be challenging. I celebrated my birthday here with Lily, her wonderful kids, and other volunteers, enjoying good cake and great company. We also had a fun pizza night. Thank you, Lily and family, for the memorable time!

I had a lovely month with Lili and her family. The work was reasonable and the community is so welcoming. Getting to know the locals and immersing myself in the day to day village life was absolutely a highlight. The village is a bit far from public transport, but hitchhiking is relatively easy and reliable. Volunteers get 25€ per week for food, so keep in mind that you'll need to spend some of your own money to get 3 meals a day. Overall, this was a great first Worldpackers experience. the guest house has a piece of my heart ❤️ Review space is limited, but I'm happy to answer any questions!

What to say about this experience! I came for 1 month and stayed 2 and a half months! Lili, Dusko, Mara, Petra and Djurdja are a beautiful family! ❤The main tasks here are cleaning, order, serving guests (in the restaurant and in the hotel), helping with meal preparation. They give you an apartment to stay (beautiful and equipped) that is a 30-minute walk from work. Lili teaches you how to serve customers and makes you feel part of the family. Dusko teaches you A LOT in the kitchen! There is a lot to do all the time! It is a very energetic job, but for me it is very worth it! 😍
