Conhecemos a vaga por indicação de uma amiga e, mesmo sem estarem recebendo voluntários, fomos acolhidos com carinho pela Lili e sua família maravilhosa. Também tivemos o prazer de conhecer o Dusko, um excelente chef. Nossas principais tarefas foram organizar alguns espaços da propriedade. Agradecemos imensamente pela receptividade e esperamos retornar em breve!

The hotel sits on the mountainside with a beautiful view of the water cutting through the valley below. I found the experience to be a great opportunity to rest and recharge, as I was there in September (shoulder season) and there wasn't much going on. It's important to note that the family and business had a lot of challenges going on outside of their control during the month I was there, but I felt communication could've been improved with scheduling and with tasks/responsibilities/expectations during the shifts. Definitely got to know Montenegrin culture and experience the guest house nature!

Minha experiência foi muito especial! Trabalhamos na guest house e moramos em um apartamento na vila. O trabalho foi tranquilo e bem organizado, mas é importante saber que há cerca de 2 km até a guest house e nem sempre havia carona, às vezes íamos a pé. A vila é pequena e os mercados têm poucas opções, mas o ponto positivo é justamente a paz e o contato com a natureza. É um lugar remoto, perfeito para quem busca se reconectar. Também tive a oportunidade de fazer um passeio de barco, que foi incrível. Obrigada Lily, sua família e os outros voluntários pelo acolhimento ❤

I spent a month with Lily, Dusko, and their daughters — a lovely family. Lily is strong and kind, and even made me a surprise cake on my birthday! =D I shared a room with Crista, who became a friend for life. I also met Akchel and her son, lovely people, and some local people. The village is tiny and peaceful, great for nature lovers. Work hours are respected, and you get €30/week for food. the guest house is 2.5 km from the house. Be ready to walk, ask for a ride — and face 40 °C+ heat! A real, simple, challenging and enriching experience!

I really enjoyed my volunteer experience at the guest house🍃Lily and her family were super friendly. The hotel has a stunning view☀️👌🏻Even though I was there for a short time, I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers and made some great friends. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique experience and enjoyment of nature✅

Lili was very nice and welcoming throughout the whole 2 weeks. Hours were agreed upon the night before, either chosen by lili or amongst ourselves. Everyone works the weekends as its the busy time for the guest house. The rooms are cute and changeovers are easy. You meet lots of locals as they come to drink at the weekend. Everyone loves the boat trips and although we didn't have time to go on one, i would surely recommend. Lili let's you borrow kayak aswell in your free time. 😀

The guest house is in the most beautiful location and Lily welcomed us in to her family. We were living in our van on site, other volunteers seemed to stay between the house and village so not as social as other experiences. Food money was given and we cooked for ourselves. Tasks were varied and had to use initiative to find things sometimes, mostly cleaning. We had a good stay and Lily is super friendly and kind.

It was my first experience as a volunteer, and I am very grateful to Lili ,dusko and her family for their patience, the opportunity, and for sharing their home with me… I took away a beautiful experience. What stood out was their great patience despite my learning English 🫶🏼☺️ I met two other travelers, which made everything very nice. I had several rainy days due to the winter, but it helped me rest 😴 Thank you so much, I wish you all the best for what's to come, and I hope to see you soon 🫶🏼 God bless you.

This experience has been amazing.I found a wonderful place in Montenegro where my son and I were warmly welcomed.From the first moment, the family made us feel part of their home, always attentive to our needs. I definitely gained a new family here! I learned about cooking and the internal management of a hotel,skills that I truly value.I enjoyed spending time with the girls, especially with Djurga, the baby. Additionally, I made great friends and we explored beautiful places together.Thanks to this wonderful family for welcoming us.We will always keep you in our hearts.
