The Experience

We are a family of 4 who recently moved from Italy to Brazil. We currently need volunteers interested in exchanging their knowledge and willing to learn more about woodwork, gardening, building, farming and permaculture. We eat mostly vegan, eggs and dairy everynow and then. We love to cook our own food and avoid industrialized itens.

It was overall an interesting experience. The family is very welcoming and they are happy to share whatever they know with you. I have learnt a lot with them and feel thankful for the exchange. The only thing (i.m.o.) that needs done is make sure provide PPE and clear instructions to the volunteers when handling heavy tools and machines. We eventually got them but it's very important to have everything first handed when staying in such remote place. Aside from that, they were very nice to us and they cook amazing meals.
