Se busca personas que pueden ayudar independientemente, ser responsables y que les gusta conocer nuevas culturas y ambientes. La ayuda es más de todo jardinería, limpieza y pintar. El lugar solo tiene 6 cabañas y algunos se alquila por mes. Está rodeado de naturaleza a 80m del mar. Así que se verá muchos animales de todos tipos. Las construcciones son rústicos y sencillos.

The place and the beach are beautiful. The tasks given to us (cleaning, raking, check ins/outs etc.) were absolutely ok and fair. Some days were busier, some more relaxed. But someone always has to be on the property and has to check the pump for the water every hour. So even after all the work is done, we couldn't leave. We didn't meet Cecilia, we only received the tasks via WhatsApp. Unfortunately we didn't feel very welcome, more like cheap workers and the communication all in all wasn't very friendly. Instead of food, we just got 15.000 crc per week, which is not sufficient at all.

Hi.
Yes i had problem to come as i was sick for three weeks.
Just to remind that you only work 3,5 day tje other days totally free day and night. So you could leave at least 3 or four nights a week.
The us 30 dolar a week is based on the way costarican eat. And is enough for 2 meals.

The experience was amazing when it comes to nature environment, the place is right by the beach, surrounded by trees, animals, and insects. The cabin for the volunteers is big and it has private rooms with private bathrooms, quite rustic but with the necessary things to live. You need to keep it clean otherwise all insects come in! The job is easy, only clean and receive guests, sometimes is a lot of work because you have to clean 3or 4 cabins in one day, but other days you don't do much. I would recommend to be clear about the schedule and do everything on the app.

Los anfitriones Cecilia y Javier son personas increíbles, tuvimos la suerte de que se encontraran esa semana en el alojamiento y poder conocerlos, son personas que se preocupan realmente por el medioambiente y amerita aprender sobre ellos. Nos invitaron a un asado junto a otros voluntarios, fueron súper hospitalarios. Las tareas son sencillas y divertidas, si se suele trabajar más cuando hay check out, pero resulta ser tranquilo el resto de los días. Hemos convivido con roedores, murciélagos, todo tipo de insectos, perezosos y monos aulladores. 💘

Se cumplieron las horas de trabajo y el lugar queda a 200 metros de la playa. Nos gustó que hubieran dos bicicletas a disposición, ya que en ellas se pueden recorrer todas las playas del sector. Hay que tener en cuenta que la cabaña de voluntarios es muy precaria, baños con termitas y abiertos por arriba, ventiladores oxidados y defectuosos. Es verdad que algunos detalles podrían arreglarse con disposición de los volun, pero otras son responsabilidad del dueño Para la comida nos dieron 15mil colones a la semana, lo que es poco para pareja. Fue un gusto conocer a Cecilia, es muy simpática!!
