The Experience

We are a certified organic farm that commercially sells Blueberries, Turmeric and Peaches. We need volunteers to help the farm in exchange for access to the Nature Coast. North Florida has many of the most beautiful coldwater springs in the world. These are First Magnitude springs with volumes greater than 65 million gallons of water per day. We are also situated just 40 miles from the Gulf Coast and the most secluded beach in Florida!

This was my first time volunteering at this farm and I had a wonderful time. You get to meet so many amazing people from all over the world, which makes the work you do together so much more enjoyable. It's always good vibes and fun times. The work is definitely hard, especially with the Florida heat, but doing it with such a great team makes the time fly by. Hope to visit again for the farm harvest sometime!

This was my first Worldpackers trip and I could not have had a more fantastic trip. Richard is an excellent host and is always organizing activities for us in the evenings. We work 5 hours a day harvesting and working together as a team to meet our goal and complete our task. We have time during lunch to take trips to the springs and go on nature walks. On the weekends we have time to ourselves to go into Gainesville and see the museum or just relax. I enjoyed my time in the peaceful setting, connecting with nature and meeting new people from all around the world. Definitely recommend it.

The farm is beautiful, and Richard is a fantastic host who teaches a lot about farming from both a practical and business standpoint. Work on the farm isn't difficult, and everyone is encouraged to do tasks they feel comfortable doing. It was great being here during the farm harvest so I could see first-hand the entire process of getting produce ready to send to market. The farm house is cozy and comfortable, and Richard provides ample ingredients to create delicious meals. I've met the most wonderful people here and will definitely return! Thanks Richard!

This was my second time going back to the farm. Richard is a great host. He's always so welcoming and just a fun and easygoing person! working on the farm was very rewarding for me. I ate good food everyday and stayed active. There's so much to do. The farm itself is beautiful and it's in a nice area near the springs where i spent a lot of my time. It's a great place to connect with nature and meet people from all over the world. I can't wait to go back!
