What a blessing it was to volunteering with Shirley and Yeilin. They open their arms to the volunteers and share their way of life. Everyday, I looked forward to the daily task, delicious healthy meals, and engaging conversation. I highly recommend this place if you looking to connect with nature and learn about permaculture. Deeply touched by this experience!

From the first day on Shirley, Yeilin and Maria made me feel like a part of the family. The provided food is delicious and the work is very manageable. I recommend a basic Spanish knowledge if you want to further improve your Spanish. Definitely recommended! :)

What a great experience. If you want to learn about permaculture, live with a local family and practice your spanish, this is your place! I loved every aspect about it and can highly recommend this place. Yeilin, Shirley and Maria made me feel at home from the first day on and were always super understanding and helpful. What I enjoyed most about this experience was that I got to spend so much time with the family, working in the garden or with the animals, eating and cooking together, ... Anyways you also have a lot of time for yourself, which I mainly used to read in the hammock :)

They were very nice and understanding. The work was quite simple. You help around the farm to feed the animals and assist on any projects they're working on such as planting trees, making animal feed, or building a goat house!

I really enjoyed my time at the farm with Yeilin and Shirley. They were very welcoming, friendly and polite. The experience gave me a lot of insight into their day to day lives and the type of work involved in running a farm. They are very self sufficient and everything we ate was freshly made. I liked trying some of the local meals they cooked. I have been inspired by the simple but very happy life they lead. This is the perfect experience if you want to connect with nature, get outdoors and self-reflect. Mucho Gracias :)

Recominedo 100% esta experiencia si quieres conectar con la naturaleza y con el concepto de permacultura, en definitiva con una vida más sostenible. Las tareas son variadas y muy amenas, y la família está muy atenta a cualquier detalle. Además, aprendí a hacer tamales y patacones con ellas que ricos :) Muchas gracias, Lau.

Estar en la granja fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora!!!! Aprendí sobre permacultura y fue una muy buena ocasión para conectar con la tierra!!!! También fue genial conocer a Yeilin, Shirley y Maria. Nos incluyeron muy bien en su vida familiar e incluso conocimos a otros de sus familiares. También quiero decir que el gallo pinto estaba muy bueno y daba mucha energía. Una muy buena experiencia. La recomiendo!!!🌀☺️❤️🎶

He estado 2 semanas en el proyeto, siendo mi primera experiencia como voluntaria en una granja y lo recomiendo muchísimo!! 😊 Me he sentido como en casa, cuidada y valorada. Muy buenas charlas y he aprendido mucho!! Shirley, Yeilin y María, son muy buenas anfitrionas; cuidan mucho de los voluntarios, así como de sus animales y el medio ambiente. El trabajo es asequible y variado, se trabajan unas 3-4 horas por la mañana y el resto del tiempo es libre. El entorno es montañoso y el proyeto, a 20 min hay la parada del bus, que conecta con Turrialba y pueblos vecinos. Gracias por todo 😘

Este fue mi primer voluntariado con Worldpackers is estoy tan feliz de haber venido a esta finca. Desde el primer Momento me recibieron como si fuera parte de su familia y me enseñaron muchisimo sobre El cuidado al medioambiente, permacultura y El amor hacia los animales. Con Todo el amor, la paciencia y la perseverancia crearon un espacio hermoso, un hogar. La comida que preparan es deliciosa y El trabajo es super ameno y todos Los dias haven una actividad Nueva. Tambien se adaptan a los deseos personales de cada uno y estan abiertas a recibir cualquier sugerencia. Muchas gracias!
