The Experience

O Voluntário deverá fazer serviço de limpeza e arrumação dos quartos e zonas comuns, receber os hóspedes no check in, e preparar o pequeno almoço, de preferência sempre com um sorriso e boa disposição. Espero que o voluntário trabalhe 5h por dia, 5 dias por semana, numa escala rotativa, ficando com o resto do dia livre e com dois dias de folga semanais. Não temos regras rígidas e mantemos um convívio saudável e bem disposto entre todos.

This experience was amazing, I wanted to stay more time but I already have a complete trip planned in Europe :(, so sad. The place is very good, task are clear since the beginning and are easy to do, I work just a few hours per week, that was amazing for me because I also work remotely so it gave me the time to travel, work and volunteering!!! The guest house is located also in Alfama and amazing neighborhood full of many things to do and close to the metro and train station! Thanks Luis for this opportunity ❤️✨!!! I will remember Lisboa forever

I learned a lot from these experiences, and connecting with the other volunteers was amazing. Having a warm croissant every morning was great, hehe best in town, that's what the guest will tell me hahaha

This was my first experience as a volunteer throw the Worldpackers, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to start! the guest house is a very nice place to stay, the accommodation is very confy and breakfast is delicious! The work done there was simple and fair, mostly cleaning the rooms, common areas, making the breakfast and staying in the reception. Luis - the owner, is very gentle and is always worried about how we are feeling and does everything to help us when we need. Inka - the manager, is extremely lovely and is always around to support us. I do recommend the place a lot!

I want to say that I highly recommend it! Even it was my first time to volunteer abroad, They gave me amazing experiences while staying! Luis is really generous, nice! I was working at the hostel and the farm. Working is so easy for me and I could get a lot of time to travel :D All volunteers I met here are so good, nice.. We had different languages but we tried our best to communicate❤️ I will never forget the memories I made here. I would like to come back again next time I come to Lisbon🥹🌈💖

The guest house feels like home! Inca and Luis always do their best to make everyone feel comfortable and happy and even help adjust the schedule to the needs and lives of the volunteers. You work very little hours and have a lot of free time to enjoy beautiful Lisbon. The volunteers make it so it feels like a little community! You will share a room and bathroom with one other volunteer, which is a total dream situation. Highly recommend this place to anyone :)
