The experience

Our current head chefs are Alistair, Ruth & Chala who are skilled in preparing Plant-based, Whole food, Organic, Vegetarian Cuisine. Assist and learn hands-on in the kitchen, from cleaning and chopping veggies, to recipe and menu planning, all the necessary preparations as well as plating. We work on a rotation 6 shifts a week. 2 full days off. We need help to cook but you would also be expected to serve customers and cleaning tasks.


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

European Union Passport

Welcome to our kitchen!

Cooking balanced seasonal menus that use the highest quality of fresh, local and organic ingredients, we want to bring people together to connect with one another over cuisine driven by love and prove once and for all that really healthy food can be really creative and of course delicious!

Right now is your opportunity to train to cook delicious vegan meals. In doing so, you are helping us to offer the local and global community 6 days per week a new style of dinning; food made with love that brings people together to be nourished and share our special 3 course menu that we change every 3 weeks.

Our vision is also unique because we want to be more than a place serving good food. We want to create a collaborative kitchen that both trains new chefs and also employs these chefs on a freelance basis.
