We are looking for social, open-minded and responsible people to help us in the hostel. It can be at the kitchen, bar or reception; but we are always looking for them to interact with guests giving them the home away from home feeling. We are one of the largest hostels in Mexico and if you are willing to help and learn, this position is for you. I stayed one month in the hostel as a volunteer in the experiences area and it was such a fun time!! The shifts were mostly in the evening which means you basically had the whole day for yourself to enjoy the lagoon of Bacalar. You interact a looot with the guests, so you do need bunch of social energy! But in my opinion it was the best area because of the fun you always experienced with the other travelers. Furthermore my team was amazing, good communication and good vibes all the time. In general the hostel Team is very lovely and welcoming. Thank you for this experience 💜

I had an amazing time in the hostel. I went together with a friend but we did not have the same schedule which we asked for so we asked to change but the communication was very slow. Next to that i had an amazing time with the team and guests. I worked bar and had alot of interaction with people during my shift which is what i love. The 5 hours of working flew by and afterwords there was always someone to hang out with! Amazing!

My stay at the hostel was nothing short of amazing. The hostel is the best i've ever stayed at and the Lagoon in Bacalar is gorgeous. Perfect place to go to relax or be a digital nomad. I worked in the reception and the hours and tasks were always as agreed on. The staff accommodation could be better but it's good enough. Everyone at the hostel is a family and it was hard to say goodbye. I definitely recommend this experience

I really love the hostel, everything was very clean my room was super nice and there were many common spaces to spend time and meet people. The staff was super nice thanks a lot to lucas from the bar and Anna and Amir were super nice with me. The activity are on spot. I really enjoyed my stay here and I really recommend it!!!

I had a great time at Ché and was warmly welcomed as soon as I arrived with a warm. The staff, management and volunteers were all great to work with and treated me like part of the family straight away. The hostel has a great energy and vibe. The only improvement that could be made is the staff room which is off site and pretty run down. It could do with a renovation and have a new coat of paint. Thank you Juan, Augustine and the team. Will miss you all.
