Description

Volunteers receive credit as recognition for their time and effort. This system allows flexibility: A volunteer who works 14 hours per week will have their full accommodation costs covered. A volunteer who is only available for 7 hours per week will still receive credit, but they will need to contribute the difference towards their accommodation.

I had a really good experience at the hostel, where I stayed for over two months. During my time there, I was helping to organise events for the hostel, which I genuinely enjoyed. The duties were simple, and I was given a lot of trust and freedom by the owners, Matt and Ash. Both of them were incredibly kind hosts and always made sure everything felt welcoming and relaxed. Because the hostel has a lot of long-term guests, I found myself spending more time hanging out with them rather than the volunteers, and it actually helped me build some really great connections.

Such a great experience at the hostel! We received a very good training. The tasks were easy to understand and got into it quickly! The team is really nice and they care about how you feel while doing the job! Great opportunity to meet travelers!!

Stayed for a week and it was great! It was my first volunteer here in Worldpackers as well and it was such a great experience. Ash and everyone were just so nice with work and during my stay. Definitely a great place to meet new people. The task (I was assigned to deep clean bathrooms) is doable too with Ash showing me around what needs to be done. Definitely recommend!
