Me and my friend Morgan felt very welcomed at the hostel, everyone was really friendly and we had an overall amazing time with the people. The hosts are super generous and very kind😊 Work is simple and after work you can go explore the island by bus or hitchhiking. Isle of the hostel is definitely worth seeing!!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. The place is stunning and the location is the gateway to the Isle osf the hostel. The bus don't run often, but that's ok bc you'll get used to hitchhiking everywhere lol Here you'll get 35 pounds a week for groceries, so you won't have to spend money on that. The shifts are respected and the owners are great! They also have other locations so you can start here and go to other places like Inverness, For William and Loch Ness. I loved my time here and would def recommend it!

One of the best places to volunteer! The tasks are simple, mostly cleaning, organizing, and a bit of reception during the night shift (which is great if you want to practice your English). The hostel is an amazing place to meet people from all over the world, both guests and staff, and to exchange experiences. Kyleakin is a small and remote village, but you still get to live so many incredible moments. The island itself is absolutely beautiful, with lots of amazing spots to explore. I'll miss this place and hope to come back someday. Thank you, the hostel, for the experience. πŸ’›

I spent about three weeks at the hostel and had a great experience. The island is beautiful and peaceful, with amazing views. The work is simple , making beds, cleaning bathrooms and common areas and you get clear instructions from the staff. The team environment is relaxed and friendly. I met great people, had fun, and got to explore the island on my days off. Definitely worth it!

The hostel was the PERFECT first experience to have on Worldpackers. The staff was like family, the guests were chatty & kind, and the volunteer work was simple and communicated effectively. I would 10/10 volunteer here again. the hostel has set my bar high for any future volunteer opportunities.

My experience in the hostel was amazing! The landscape is really beautiful, the hostel is a bit far away from the touristic spots, but it's possible to take a bus or to do hitchhike for everywhere (which was a good opportunity to meet local people), also the view from the hostel is incredible, in front of the sea and mountains and the backyard is also special. The hostel is very cozy and the best part for me was the volunteer team, we became a family ❀ I wish the best for all of you, thank you very much family the hostel 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This was my first worldpackers experience and it has been so good! the hostel is an amazing place, with stunning views, it's a bit difficult to get around without a car (few buses) but most volunteers just hitchhike and there are beautiful places even nearby. I mean, even the walk to the supermarket is spectacular! The working times were always respected and the job was easy (cleaning kitchen and toilets, hoovering, making beds, laundry). But the very best thing was the lovely atmosphere with the team! Come here if you want to connect with nature and meet wonderful people from all over the world 🌟

I loved the place, very good vibes. Alicia and Swinn are very flexible and willing to help. The location is far from the main attractions but if you organize yourself with free time you can catch some buses. Or hitchhike to get there faster. But I had a great time because the group of people was very fun. The nearest supermarket is 45 minutes walking... or you can call a taxi. The tasks are so light or more energetic depending on how you take it! I recommend this place to disconnect and learn how to hitchhike haha. The facilities are very comfortable in my opinion.

Is a good place to be in contact with nature. The tasks are easy peasy lemon squeeze, and if you know how to work in a team are even easier. Kyleakin is a small town, you can hitchhike to go all over the hostel (highly recommend this). The staff is nice too and they help you if you fancy visiting another hostel.

I have spent 3 wonderful weeks at the hostel and it has been great my experience, both with the other volunteers and with the workers. In a short time you make a family and it is one of the things I like most about volunteering. The work is not heavy, it is very fun to share tasks with the rest of the team. The best are the free breakfasts, very abundant, the kitchen and living room as rooms to make a great social life in that small village of the hostel. Also the hikes you can do in those stunning landscapes. Thank you guys for making it all so easy and sharing many good stories together!!
