This was my second time at the hostel and just like the first time it was amazing! The work is very reasonable, and the hours are respected. Jess is an amazing manager. She was always taking care of us and made sure the vibe were phenomenal! I hope to work with her in the future. I will definitely miss the hostel and everyone I got to know there.

This was my first World Packers experience, and I am so glad that I came to the hostel. Jess is an amazing manager who truly cares about each and every volunteer at the Hostel. The work is straight forward and simple. Kyleakin is a beautiful place, and the perfect town if you're looking for a quaint and peaceful environment. Its not the easiest to get around the island if you don't have a car or really plan your outings with the local busses, but is still a lovely rural place. I will never forget my time here and all of the wonderful people I met. Thank you for everything <3

The vibe of this hostel was really positive, with all of the other nice volunteers from around the world making my experience really good. Jess and Ronan were clear and helpful on tasks, and the volunteers would often finish early and have the rest of the day off (I liked going to the water or Castle Moil). I really enjoyed the Isle of the hostel tour, traveling on my day off and doing a bakery trip with the other volunteers, carving pumpkins for Halloween, doing group activities, and seeing the Northern Lights for the 1st time ever! the hostel was a great experience!

I felt right at home at the hostel. The entire team is amazing - I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking to make new friends and learn new skills! I already miss this place and am happy to go back any day as either a guest or a volunteer.

The hostel was amazing!!! I loved all the other volunteers and Jess and Ronan were amazing to work with as well. There isn't much to do in kyleakin, so it's a nice place to unwind, and get to know the people around you🫶🏼🫶🏼

It was incredible the adventure with my girlfriend Agustina in this volunteering, I recommend going camping since they are the best spots for camping in the world. Regarding volunteering, the work is simple and there is a lot of atmosphere next to the other volunteers. Full recommended!

The hostel was a wonderful experience. Working with individuals from Panama, France, New Zealand, Brazil, China, and Canada was informative and inspiring. The expectations are reasonable and the hours per day only sometimes exceed the agreed upon four. Kyleleakin is a sleepy, lovely village with an exception view from the hostel front windows. There are castle ruins to explore only a few minutes walk away. The hostel's back garden is bordered by the beautiful Obbe River which provides quiet solitude and lovely walks. I hope to return to this hostel next summer as a volunteer.

The hostel is magical on its own, but spending a month here felt like experiencing the greatest peace possible. The place is wonderful, even though the supermarket is not that close to the hostel. The work is easy, with some days busier than others, but if you have energy and willingness, everything gets done quickly and you will still have plenty of time to explore the area and nearby regions. The night shift is simple, but it is essential to do it with attention. On your days off I recommend planning longer trips to distant towns.

The best experience of my Scotland! It's a great family that will always be there for you, and you'll have unforgettable moments! I highly recommend coming to this project. The work is easy, and they also offer free tours sometimes. The island is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life and I will definitely return.
