The Experience

We are a tight family here. With only 22 guests at a time we truly become close with all the travelers. We clean bathrooms and bedrooms every morning with the other workers and volunteers. Through the day you're free to explore Budapest and everything it has to offer. Every night we have family dinner and then events ranging from pub crawl to all you can drink boat party. Come join us!

I can't put into words the time I had at the hostel with Gemma as my boss, she was very hospitable, kind, and made me feel right at home immediately. The agreement we made on work was met from the beginning to the end. Due to this experience, I have made lifelong friends, and I am eager to come back! This hostel has left an indelible impact on me, and I'm so excited to come back one day. 10/10 recommend!

The hostel is where I said "I'm living the best time of my life", it's an amazing experience, you'll get to meet a lot of different people from all over the world, you'll definitely have a lot of fun, I ended up extending my stay here because I enjoyed it too much. The workload is completely manageable, you'll have a lot of time during the week to go out and explore Budapest. Gemma is an amazing human being, she made me feel like family, she will always have a special place in my heart. the hostel's vibe is much more than I would have ever hoped for, this is now my home away from home, I am coming back.

I recently volunteered at the hostel and it was fantastic! The staff and volunteers were welcoming, the facilities were top-notch, and the sense of community was uplifting. I felt supper welcomed by gemma and she did everything she can to make me feel confirtable , i cannot thank her enough , i had the best time and the best experience .i felt like home and we had a familly like connection.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful travel experience.

This is a great little a spot to settle down for a while. The hosts are very understanding, welcoming and fair. The workload is very manageable, giving you a great balance between work and traveling. Couldn't recommend it more.

I spent just under a month at the hostel and loved every second of it. I met some incredible people from all over the world, and the hostel fam are absolutely amazing. I'm going to miss them, but I'll definitely be back in the future!
