Volunteering at the hostel Paddington was amazing! Tasks vary but they always explain how to do things. Hours are respected and you can negotiate them if something comes up (just do it with time). Food is great and if you go 10 min before the closing time, you can get seconds that you can have for lunch the next day (bring a tupper). Staff and volunteers are nice, friendly, and helpful! I really enjoyed this experience and totally recommend it!

Volunteering at the hostel Paddington/the hostel was one of my best experiences! I had the chance to meet amazing people and live unforgettable moments in London. The schedules are respected, the work is easygoing, and the accommodation is excellent. As a Brazilian, I found the food a bit lacking in seasoning, but it's still quite good—they provide two meals a day. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore London because the location is simply perfect. It's a shame I couldn't extend my volunteering, but I will definitely be back!

I volunteer in New Mansion House so my review will go to that the hostel. The experience was amazing! I share room with 2 other girls who were super respecful. The tasks were easy and not tiring at all, the times were respected. The food was good and generous. I had a great time volunteering there, I met super nice people and longlasting friends, besides that I practice a lot my english. Definitely will love to come back!

Great experience at the hostel ! The staff is very nice and flexible, the volunteers' room is big and the meals are good. The hours of work were always respected and the work itself is exactly what I expected. The accommodation in general was very nice and I got to meet loads of international travellers. I totally recommend this experience :)

Everything was arranged nicely. You get 2 meals a day. Both nice. Work schedule is super clear, which is really nice. For being here while doing something else, I completely recommend. If this is your way of meeting new people and getting new experiences, I would like to recommend looking elsewhere. While I was there, there was no communal vibes/activities/etc. Most people are staying long-term, which gives a different vibes than most hostels. But as I have said before everything is pretty nice, the rooms are great, work is good and staff is always available for help.

I had a great time at the hostel and met the loveliest people along the way. The staff was always accommodating with any issue and really tried finding a solution that works for everyone. The times of work were respected, depending on what shift you get it can be more or less intense. The food was surprisingly tasty (especially if you like Indian/spicy food) and had vegetarian options as well. Unfortunately there was nothing provided for using the kitchen to cook for yourself.

I had a great time at the hostel. All the other volunteers were amazing and it was wonderful getting to know them. You get your hours at the beginning of your stay and they stay the same throughout so you can plan days or accordingly. The food is good, although a little repetitive and as a volunteer if there are leftovers you can save some if you like. I worked in the kitchen which had its own sub-community which was really nice. There is a separate kitchen but you will need to buy your own pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, etc. if you'd like to use it. Thanks to all those at the hostel.

It's a great option to get to know London. 20 hours/week with 2 days off gives you plenty of time to explore and also the location makes everything more accessible. I met incredible people and i loved the roommates I shared bedroom with, we really connected. The reason why i wouldn't give 5 starts is because they say they have equipped kitchen but you only have stove and fridge. If you want to cook, you'd have to buy everything needed to do so, including soap for example. As a vegetarian that made things a little bit difficult, considering i usually cook my own meals.

I had a good experience at the hostel, the work was easy and the hours were respected. The Hostel is at a great location and its very easy to explore the rest of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Its not the most social hostel, since most of the guests are staying for a long time and the volunteers are divided across multiple rooms, so if you are looking for a place with lots of social engagement this might not be perfect for you. I still met some great people though and had a lot of fun.
