Hey there, In our two ecovillages we have many ongoing technical activities. My volunteer experience in Ecoliving was wonderful! The people were very kind and welcoming, making me feel at home. The work was not too hard, and I got to learn new things. The best part was the beautiful view—waking up every day to the mountains and lake was truly amazing. It made the experience even more special. I'm grateful for this opportunity and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rewarding experience!

I have mixed feelings regarding this experience. All in all I am grateful, I did learn a lot. I've met some really wonderful people. On the other hand, in Grandvaux I missed a real sense of community and didn't feel very comfortable. If you want to explore Switzerland, I wouldn't recommend this place, if you want to (learn to) work manually, I do. The tasks where not always nice, but working with João is very nice and I learned a lot from him - about work and life. Thank you!

The place is cool, the view of the lake is amazing. Don't come thinking it's a holidays house, there is always work to be done during your 30h of volunteering… the food for the meals is available, you just have to cook for yourself. There is a collective lunch 2x per week and someone + volunteer will cook for the whole house. It's a cool experience and you will meet people from everywhere (over 7 countries), it's a good place to have some language exchange. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.
