What you offer

The Experience
As a housekeeping volunteer you’ll be at the forefront of our operations as part of the housekeeping team you’ll help to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness for our residents. Duties include : Everyday general cleaning including the cleaning of showers, toilets, bedrooms, public & communal areas, external areas, kitchens and dining room.

I really enjoyed volunteering at the hostel. The work is easy and the room is cozy with a private bathroom. They give £20 each week for groceries, which was enough for my breakfast. The location is great, close to Southwark and Elephant & Castle stations, and a bus stop is right outside. I highly recommend it!

My experience at the hostel was wonderful from the very first day to the last. I made friendships with many unique people and felt completely at home. The tasks were very well organized. Emanuel, Paulo, David, and Judi were amazing. This was my first volunteering experience, and I definitely recommend it.

I loved being at the hostel. After one month, I truly felt like it was my home. I met many wonderful volunteers, and the accommodation and facilities were excellent. Emmanuel and Paolo were amazing — always very kind, and there was always a good sense of humor during our work. Everyone was so supportive. I always felt welcome, and the location is perfect.

The experience at the hostel was incredible! The tasks are well organised as very distributed. One big plus is food allowance to support. I had the chance to work with incredible people, especially the managers Paolo and Emanuel, always very supportive! Also Judit, a dedicate and inspiring volunteer! I would highly recommend the opportunity at the hostel!
