I had such a great time volunteering here! This was my second time volunteering and it was so much better than expected. Primos was such a good host, and the lodge itself is in such an amazing spot, where you get to meet other volunteers from around the world, but also many friendly locals! Just make sure you wash your clothes before going up there, since there isn't a washing machine. Thank you for the best time!!

I really enjoyed living in the lodge for a few weeks. Be warned it is off the grid so no shower & the diet can affect you after a while. However the work was really easy, serving hikers drinks & soup on the weekend & occasionally in the week and a bit of busy work. It's a really unique experienced & hard to summarise but I highly recommend!!!

It was such a really nice experience! the lodge Franko is a place totally connected with nature, so you can enjoy the views, have walks around and feel the peace in the mountains. The tasks were relaxed; in the weekends a lot of people go there to enjoy the place, and during the week it's just keep the space clean and tidy. I really recommend the experience ♡

The place is perfect if you're looking to immerse yourself in nature. the lodge is very cozy, the view is stunning, and there are lots of hikes around. The hikers who come here are super nice. Keep in mind that the lodge is in very basic condition, it has a dry toilet and bowl showers. There's no Wi-Fi, and cooking supplies are limited. So bring what you need from the city, and you'll have an amazing time! The tasks are very easy, and during the weekdays it's super chill with not much work. I had a great time and already miss the cat, Macs 🫶🏻

If you're looking to connect with nature and disconnect from the world, you've come to the right place. the lodge franco gives you the space to have loads of free time to yourself, allowing you to get in touch with your creative side, learn a new instrument or go for a hike and explore the beautiful mount Trebević. As for the facilities it's definitely not fancy and there is no wifi BUT if you want a nature based the lodge to visit, then look no further.
