The Experience

Granada is a magic city in the south of Spain. When you come, you fall in love :) We need help at the reception and the cange of beds. It is very important for us that your application will be in Spanish. We are a Hostal in the city center, with a friendly atmosphere, located in a typical Andalusian mansion just five minutes far away from Puerta Real (the city center) and the cathedral. It has 19 rooms in total.

Irene and Jose were great hosts. I felt very welcomed and comfortable during y whole stay, both with them as hosts, and the rest of the team. Hostel is nice and clean, in the center of the city. I will come back to visit for sure during the colder months as well. Highly recommend :)

My experience at Hostal the hostel was amazing and got better over time. At first, there's a lot to learn, but Irene patiently explains everything and is always available to help. Volunteers support each other, forming a close-knit group. Irene said volunteers don't want to leave, and it's true! Some reasons: 1. Work hours are respected and well-distributed, leaving free time. 2. Central, safe location close to everything. 3. Well-equipped apartment exclusively for volunteers. I'm very grateful to Irene and Jose! For me, it was the calm after the storm.

Irene es la persona más granaína que conocerás! Súper platicadora, alegre, cálida y procuradora de que conozcas lo mejor de Granada y su cultura (probé las mejores tapas gracias a sus recomendaciones). Jose es más serio pero igual muy amable y paciente al explicar las tareas. La organización de los horarios permite tener hasta 9 días libres consecutivos! La ubicación es insuperable, en el corazón de calle Elvira, el paseo turístico principal, con tiendas de souvenirs y montones de restaurantes y bares de tapas gratis. Todo justo abajo del Albaicín y en un apartamento exclusivo para voluntarios
