We are looking for someone fun, experienced, easy-going and reliable to join our team for the summer season. This position mainly requires cleaning beds, rooms, bathrooms and common areas. I had a wonderful time volunteering at the hostel! The work was straightforward, with plenty of free time to explore and enjoy the area. The highlight, without a doubt, was meeting so many incredible people - staff, fellow volunteers, and guests. Huge thanks to Tristan and the rest of the gang for creating such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Rethymno itself is a beautiful town full of charm, with a great beach and the perfect base for day trips with new friends. I'd absolutely recommend this experience. Volunteering at RYH was one of the best experiences of my life. The hostel itself is beautiful - it's clean, spacious and in an awesome location. A big thank you to the team (Tristan, Nikos & Joseph) they were always friendly & helpful. It's clear they value volunteers and want them to have an amazing experience as well. The hours had changed a little from what was originally agreed on, but after a conversation this was resolved and a solution was reached so that everyone was happy. The tasks included cleaning, housekeeping & event planning/running. I would highly recommend this opportunity!

I couldn't have chosen a better place for my first Worldpackers experience! This hostel is honestly one of the best places to meet people I've ever been to — it just happens naturally because everyone is in such a good vibe! The tasks and hours changed a bit from what we agreed on at the beginning, and the first week was a bit more challenging. But we had a conversation and sorted everything out! I felt like part of the team and so welcomed. I carry with me unforgettable experiences and amazing people. Also, the people in Rethymno are so kind. I totally recommend this opportunity!

I had a beautiful experience. They surprised me with the best birthday of my adult life—I'll always be grateful for that! The hostel is beautiful, cozy, social, and a great place to meet people from all over. I fell in love with the island's nature and enjoyed the fun nightlife. It was my first time doing cleaning; it felt challenging at first, but I adapted fast. Some unexpected changes made me feel uncomfortable, but after talking with the manager, things were resolved. Overall, I'm thankful and happy with my experience at RYM. Thank you all 🩵
