Great location, close to two supermarkets and the DLR train station. Shared room, The cleaning of the place where we stay is divided between ourselves, the place is clean, the kitchen is large, well equipped. The work is heavy, cleaning every day is a different task, if you finish earlier they give you more service, so I found the work heavy. They should be better distributed among the volunteers. They give us an allowance to buy food, you can use the laundry room, and we can use the gym. The staff and volunteers were very receptive. It was a good experience on the first volunteer.

This was my first experience using the platform and I recommend it because it was good to practice my English and connect with people from other cultures. All the staff treated me very well, were respectful and open to talk if something bothered me. I really liked the accommodation, the space is very clean and organized. The cleaning of the place is carried out only by the volunteers. Working hours were respected.Thank you for everything.

I had a great experience in the hostel. The working hours are respected and they also provide volunteers a food budget that helps a lot. I met amazing people and made a lot of brazilian friends 🀍 the room is shared only with one or two persons, it's almost private! I'm completely gratefull with all the staff members: Barry, Sally, Jorge and Caterina. Thank you for being so supportive and kind. Thanks for the love and respect 🫢🏻 It was a pleassure to be part of this volunteering.

Really good experience for my first time volunteering! Nice people and gives you enough time to do your own things:) The managers were really understanding and helpful. Always there if you have questions or need help with something! Thank you for this experience!

Working at the hostel is one of the best volunteering experiences I've had. The working hours are very well organised and the tasks are always changing, which prevents you from getting bored. It's a nice and quiet place, especially for those who combine volunteering with other activities like work or studying. I have learnt a lot from working with this team and of course met many amazing people! Thank you so much for such a great experience! :)

Because of personal issues I couldn't stay the time we agreed and it's sad, because the place and facilities are great and the team is absolutely amazing. Special thanks to the manager Aliou who were super kind and comprehensive and also the kind supervisor Jorge.

I loved this experience, but I think it's better if we had the possibility to create interactions for the team's volunteers with parties or dinners together

Overall it was a good experience. Working hours are respected. Managers are not closed to discussion. When I arrived they tried to change my working days which was originally scheduled from Monday to Friday to Wednesday to Sunday. I refused and they accepted. However, we have a lot of work to do in a short time. We are treated like employees and not volunteer. When I was sick, and I took five minutes break because I felt like I was going to faint, a manager told me I had to go to the reception to ask permission before take a break. It lacks the social and exchange part that I was expecting

The location is excellent, there are residents from all over the world and you can have contact with different cultures. It was well received, the schedules were always respected and the food is wonderful. I would stay longer for sure. Grateful for the opportunity! London is amazing 😍

I had a great experience at the hostel and felt very welcomed. The working hours in the morning let me enjoy the city an there's a bus stop right in front of the hostel. The work is easy but a little tiring as there are many tasks. The smell of the accommodation was very strong, but I understand that it was due to the food and there's nothing to be done. The kitchen has all the equipment but there's no basic utensils such as pots, plates and cutlery available, which I believe should be advised in advance. In sum, I loved it! Thank you so much to the reception staff for all the caring:)

Dear Rebeca, thank you for your feedback. I was not aware of it until Camila and you left the residence. So I will order pot and utensils for worldpackers so they have these items to cook. For Jorge, I will speak to him about these concerns as you are the second person to raise to me. Hopefully it will be a positive results for future volunteers. Nevertheless I am pleased that your experience was great and thank you to help us. Regards Aliou
