Description
The fee covers accommodation and meal expenses. As an association independent of external funding, we find it challenging to cover volunteer hosting costs. Nevertheless, your presence and work are invaluable in furthering our mission. We encourage you to consider volunteering with us.

The Experience
Join us to empower local women through certified programs in handicraft skills, fostering independence and self-sufficiency. Our mission encompasses supporting women holistically, promoting social and economic empowerment, and fostering solidarity within the community. Volunteers play a vital role in our organization, contributing their skills to various projects, including marketing, language classes, eco-farming, and design.

My two weeks in Gabes were unlike anything I've ever experienced — in volunteering or in life. Soumaya took great care to understand my needs and goals, making my stay adventurous, educational, and more rewarding than I could have imagined. She introduced me to so many inspiring and talented people that Gabes the project full of, and I can't wait to return (Cinéma Fen 2026!). I've made incredible friends — many of whom have supported and guided me with generosity and care as I continue exploring beautiful Tunisia.

He's very active and ready to try something new.He's sociable and easy going.he made a huge impact in our community by being present for different cultural activities and by making a lot of promotional videos about the oasis,the artisans and the environment.

She came here twice and she made a huge impact.she is a very talented photographer,a smart and sociable one.she's good in solving problems and planning for events.
Everyone loves her here and still asking me about her.she shared the community with lots of activities "brainstorm, animating coffee talk, cultural events...etc)

The most amazing experience of my life. Was meant to stay a week ended up staying three and could have been even longer. Soumaya and her family are the most generous and fun people as the project all the other people I met in the community. I felt settled in by the first day and got stuck in with so many different opportunities; meeting interesting people, learning about the culture, creating content and getting imagery, doing talks at school ect ect. The program the project super relaxed which works perfectly if your the type of person to be up for everything and you can also cater your experience :)c ya soon

Had a beautiful time with the great host. The place the project full of passion and ideas, people who strive to make tomorrow better with their own talent & visions. Lots of opportunities for volunteers to take part in— art, languages, journalism, instructing… with the host Soumaya with her broad interest and connections, you'll have the most fun discovering your true self!

The experience was absolutely great! Soumaya introduced me to the local community, and I had the opprotunity to discover a lot about the local products, the habits, the social events, the association, the people and so on. Tunisian people are very welcoming, open and helpful . I have never felt in danger or in unpleasant situation. She really cares about volunteers and she does her best for you to spend a good time there. I was generally with her during my stay and when she wasn't with me she always ensured that I was with someone very trustful. This experience was a great life lesson.
