This was my second time at the home, and once again I felt so at home. The family is incredibly kind, the atmosphere cozy, and the food delicious. Work in the garden is light and flexible, leaving plenty of time to explore or relax. I loved deepening my connection to Nepali culture and daily life. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, heartwarming experience! Thank you again for everything! 🌸

Amazing experience living with a Nepali family in a local neighborhood—felt just like home. Everyone is super kind, and Saroj is very friendly, flexible, and always available for questions. I learned a lot about Nepali culture through our chats. Simple work in the garden, about 1h/day, with plenty of free time to explore. The room is nice, and mom cooks delicious meals. There's even a free yoga class nearby. Great way to experience local lifestyle and culture!

Saroj and his family were so lovely and friendly. food was delicious and accommodation was great. the work is easy and short so I had lots of time to go to yoga classes, hikes up the hill and visit kathmandu main city. was my first worldpackers and great experience 100% recommend.

This is a small family-run farm, located on a main street just 15 minutes from the Monkey Temple. Every morning, you can go to a yoga class nearby here. The farm is home to cows, goats, and grows 30 different plants/crops. I stayed here for five days, spending time simply weeding and picking coffee beans—though what you do depends entirely on your preferences, with complete freedom to choose tasks. Grateful to the family for their warm hospitality.
