The Experience
Ecological farm minutes by metro from Barcelona city center. You will learn about ecological farming, mushroom farming and aquaponic strawberry growing from our expert Mihai. At the moment it is all non profit, we are doing this to learn, be self sustainable and grow healthy foods that we share with friends. At the moment we would like to find: 1 person with experience in maintenance / carpentry / painting 1 person to cook lunch 5 days / week

Clearly, before the 1 year abandondment, was better, now +/- a 6 out of 10. Pros: -near the train stations and Barcelona by bike or train -a lot of animals that are creating a great energy, especially the dogs Baloo and Raval -relaxed vibe -Mihai knows a lot about ecological farming and he's more than happy to share his knowledge Cons: -a chaotic way of making plans and explaining the tasks -low overall hygiene -only one kebab + 2 small cans of meat have been offered in 2 weeks -many broken utilities (laundry machine barely working, leaky faucet, the electric stove shocks quite hard etc)

Cozy place. Close to a train station. The group of people is very nice. Jeff and Mihai are super welcoming and open to talking about problems. They treated me very well and had a lot of fun.

Jeff is a super laid back and fab host. Working days are very flexible and Jeff is happy for you to travel and go see other places around abouts. Everyone living on the farm is really nice and very easy to get along with so there'll always be someone to go and do fun things with! Mihai (who cooks and delegates day to day tasks) is an amazing chef and brings a lovably chaotic energy to the farm!! Overall enjoyed the experience so much that I'm going back for two more months!
