The Experience

We are looking for somebody who is able to use his hands together with his mind in caring and setting up the surrounding of our homestay. Mainly this are tasks which requires some physical efforts, like building and developing our garden, logging wood for the heating and taking care of our small forrest, helping to perform small projects like building dry stone walls and so on. You would colaborate with either of us together most of the time.

I had a fantastic stay with Sören and Claudia. This was my first Worldpackers stay, and it was a great experience. The accommodation was amazing, and Claudia's cooking was always delicious. The work was fun and rewarding, and I was always well supported if I had any questions. They also had two little puppies who were just the cutest, I miss them already. I would highly recommend this experience.

The home is a very beautiful property set in awesome woodland scenery. The accommodation and food is second to none - the private bedroom was a self-contained flat, and Claudia's cooking was superb. The work is committing and very wholesome, with four full days of work, and three days off to explore the area. As it is quite remote and Claudia and Soeren are German, it is not a destination to practice Spanish or integrate with locals, however if you wanted to practice German or English then that would be perfect!

I had an absolutely amazing time! I spent two weeeks with Sören and Claudia and would gladly do it again! I got to stay in an absolutely beautiful apartment, which afforded me the luxury of privacy (something all too hard to come by while traveling.) I spent most of my time there working with Sören doing forestry work where I was always provided with specific instructions on what I will be doing, as well as what the goals are for the day. I would recommend the home 1000x over!

I had the best time working for Soeren and Claudia! They are the most amazing hosts and made sure I felt welcome at every opportunity. I absolutely loved spending time with them and can recommend this worldpacker stay to anyone! They truly went above and beyond as hosts (Claudia's cooking is to die for)! The house is breathtakingly beautiful and the location is perfect for both beach and mountain lovers 😍 Thank you Claudia and Soeren! I look forward to coming back and seeing you both (and Lima!) 😄😄

My stay at the home was a delightful surprise: five weeks filled with a perfect blend of work, laughter, cultural exchanges, serenity, and learning. Soeren's detailed explanations and tireless contributions enhance the beauty of the home. Chef Claudia's culinary delights added an extra layer of enjoyment, making every meal memorable. Claudia's attention to detail during my stay made the experience truly special. The place itself, surrounded by nature and meticulously cared for by Soeren, with Claudia's special touch. And Catalonya is in my heart now.
