Wonderful experience and amazing team! The hostel itself is beautiful and unique, it's perfectly situated in Catania, and it is great to discover the surrounding cities. The work is easy and everyone is always ready to help and the atmosphere is really welcoming as well. I really recommend this place for the experience and meeting memorable people. Be ready for pasta in the evening and cornetto with accordeon every morning! Grazie Mille!

It was an excellent experience staying at the hostel, I totally recommend this volunteering. The staff has all the disposition to integrate you and teach you the tasks that you'll have to carry out inside the Hostel. The work is light and easy to learn. Week by week, work days and days off are organized, so you can always talk about days off to coordinate with your travel interests. Catania is a perfect place to get to know Sicily in general, you have easy transportation to Siracusa, Etna, Taormina and Palermo, places that you can visit for a day if you wish, except for Palermo

This experience was my first volunteering with woldpackers and I have to say that it has been amazing. This hostel has something that makes you feel home from the first moment. This is because everyone who works there have the same aim of making everyone feel at home. The work is really clear and fun to do. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who is willing to meet people from different countries, learn about italian culture and discover how a hostel works! Indimenticabile. Unforgettable experience in the hostel. Many stories to tell on its terraces. To repeat in the future. Really good vibe with both staff and volunteers. The work wasn't very difficult and flexibility of timetable. Night shifts were a little bit hard but bereable with the colleagues. I took advantage of travelling as much as I could. Catania=Street sites and art. Insane beaches around. Also, Luca's cocktails were insane. You should try "Etna mule". Grande ragazziiii!!! In summary, I felt sicilianu for a month. Grazie mille! Ci vediamo presto 😎

I had such a good welcome treatning when I came to the hostel. And this go on during all my experience: people are amazing, kind and respecful, and I could make friends and learn more about responsability and work with people at hostels. The tasks are easy going and very clear. I really, really loved all the staff: Claudio, Angela, Sara, Marcello, the voluntaries team and others are the best! It feels like home and I can't wait to return. Thank you guys for the hospitality! 💖🌋

I had a great time in the hostel. All the workers there are super friendly and welcoming, it feels like a big family. I learned a lot of things about the world of hospitality, and the tasks were easy, mainly night shifts. The hostel itself it's an amazing place with a terrace with amazing views and many areas to relax, work on your projects, and interact with the guests. The ambiance with the guests is fantastic. It's the best place if you want to meet lots of cool international people. The city is unique and lively! Thank you so much for this experience!

My best time at the hostel: Every day you have the chance to meet interesting people and learn about cultures. Catania is a very exciting city where you can discover new places daily. The location of the hostel is super central, and every morning you can have your breakfast while enjoying the view of the Etna! The reception work is fun, just like the pasta shift. During the nightshift you might not get too much sleep, but its super easy and can be very interesting ;-). Thanks to all the staff of the hostel, you're amazing!

The hostel has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. With many different spaces, beautiful decoration and great cleaning. During my stay here I was able to receive a lot of love and affection and learn from it. People from Catania are very passionate and complex and they show you their true colors. Everyone at the hostel, cleaning, reception, bar staff, really took their time and energy to teach everything they could and knew and did their best to make my stay cozy and light. Angela, Ale, Orazio and Sara you are amazing people I am so grateful to have met you! Thank you for the experience I had a good time! Also the other volunteers where amazing people! The only thing to mention to other possible volunteers to that might be interested in this hostel is that Marcello, although he is a nice person, is not very polite. Other than that it is a good experience and the schedules are always kept in mind, there is free time to look around the city and go to near by towns. Again thank you for the experience!

You should be very lucky to experience the staying in the hostel. The location is perfect, the building is awesome with the best panoramic view in the city. You have several beaches nearby and incredible volcano Etna to discover. Also the street markets can propose you the best quality products at a very cheap price. Rich barocco style of the city center cannot leave you indiffirent. It is not a secret that the night shifts are a challenging experience, but be sure that the Host will make it as much comfortable as possible for you! The breakfast is nice. The staff is great.
