I felt very good and comfortable in the hostel. I stayed in the end for 3 months and I am grateful that I experienced that and met amazing people. The hostel is very unique and has it's own charme. And the task were very easy to do. The volunteers had their own room, so they are separate from the guests which I liked. I was there during off season but there was still some action (St.Agatha, new year). Thanks a lot for this time, I hope I can visit you all in the future. Grazie Mille <3

My stay at the hostel was so good i can't describe it. All the team was lovely and super kind. I thank all of them. The shifts are very cool, flexible if you need anything or a day to visit somewhere. It is like a huge family. Catania is a beautiful place to visit sicily and has many things to explore. It felt like a home and i would have stayed longer if i had the possibility. I can only recommand anyone who's looking for a human experience with some hostel work to discover or improve their skills. Thank you again.

I couldn't have had a better experience, everyone is so kind and welcoming. You really feel at home the second you walk through the door. The staff are amazing, and will help you practice Italian, connect with guests, and discover the city. The shifts are easy, the only difficult part is the night shift which I found to be relaxing and peaceful. I wont forget the memories I made and everyone I met. The staff and volunteers are always making plans, and there was never a dull moment. I was sad to leave but I hope to return soon!! I'm sending my love to the staff and volunteers! Grazie Mille <3

The hostel is absolutely the best of the best. Located in the middle of the centre of Catania this is a place where both travelers and Italians like to stay. They've got a wonderful rooftop overlooking the city and there's plenty space inside for you to spend a cloudy day playing board games, watching movies or to do whatever you'd like to. Believe me, working doesn't feel like working here. But above all, what made this stay so special to me: the staff is heart warming. I felt at home the minute I set foot in this place. I'll definitely come back! ❤️

My time at the hostel was truly amazing and I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was welcoming from the first second. The work was very fair, easy and enjoyable. Other than that the hostel is a beautiful place as well as the area surrounding it but for me the people were the best thing about the experience. Thank you for everything!

I don't even know where to begin with this hostel. It truly is the people that makes this place absolutely amazing. They are all caring, funny, and just some of the sweetest people you'll find in the world. The hours were respected and the tasks were very easy to do. Also this is a perfect volunteer opportunity if you're a digital nomad and still need to do work/school. I had the opportunity to spend their hostel's 10 year anniversary with them and they brought me in and treated me exactly as if I was one of their own. Special shoutout to the owners, Angela and Marcello, for having me! 100/10!

This was my first time volunteering and I couldn't ask for a better place. Angela and Marcello really managed to create a wonderful space. The hostel is very nice, the staff is always willing to help and the volunteers I meet here quickly became my friends. The tasks are ok, none of them are hard, night shift is the most demanding task and still is very manageable. The hostel has a really nice location and in your spare time eyou get to do many things around the city and outside as well. If something comes up the team is flexible enough to change shifts that suits you better. Good experien

I can't describe how amazing this experience was! All the staff and the owners are incredible. The work was easy and enjoyable, considering you are among such amazing people. They were also very patient and encouraged me to speak italian, which was a big plus for me since I am learning the language now. I also loved the city. You can always find good, cheap, fresh food, and people are usually very nice. During the free days you have enough time to visit the cities around, and you have time to explore Catania before/after your shift. Grazie mille a tutti! Spero di rivedervi presto.

It was an experience that helped me to grow! 👍🏼: >Vibe of the rooftop &common areas > free drinks during shifts/discounts rest of the time > sometimes 3 free days🥳 👎🏼: -long night shifts (till 8:30) in which you start the breakfast (can be a lot sometimes) > you get treated as an employee sometimes & you get the feeling they look down on you (only 1-2 of the staff) > small and unhealthy meals In general I really enjoyed the experience, but mostly because of really cool guests & another volunteer I became really close to! Also because of Claudio & Sara, you made my shifts a lot nicer🫶🏼

It's a great opportunity to meet people and immersive experience in Sicilian culture! The coworkers are great. Very friendly atmosphere! The shifts are cleary organised on 4 types. Morning shift from 8 to 11am taking care of breakfest. Afternoon from 2 to 6pm helping at reception with check in. « Pasta » shift from 8 to 10 pm cooking and serving pasta to all guests but also empting all trash bins and cleaning if needed all rooms and bathrooms in 2 different buildings. Night shift runs from midnight to 8.30 am being at the reception during all night then preparing breakfest and serving from 8.
