The Experience

If you are sunny, full of ideas and wants to meet people from all over the world, we are looking for you! Our hostel needs an extra hand during breakfast and sometimes in our bar or cleaning teams (it depends on the day, but you will get the shifts in advanced). The tasks are pretty simple and you'll basically help us with organization, cleaning and guest interaction! Also, you will always be accompanied by someone from our team! Fun is a must ;)

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! The other workers were so kind and Naples itself is full of incredible food and culture! My experience has definitely left a mark on me and I've grown so much from it. There are plenty of people coming in and out of the hostel so you have the opportunity to meet different people from all walks of life. the hostel staff are mostly locals from Naples as well! Some advice for other volunteers: make sure your communication is clear! If you have questions feel free to ask the staff or Angela and use common sense during your stay :)

The BEST you're gonna get out of a volunteer experience. It's important that you're a good communicator and a social person. I spent four hours a day, six days a week (with one day off) in the common area, either at the bar, or hosting activities with the guests, which was a great chance to experiment with different games and ideas since you're given a lot of creative freedom in the activities you do with guests. The team is kind and supportive, and whenever you're unsure about something, there will always be someone you can ask.

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel! I worked behind the bar and helped facilitate social events. The hours were fair, and I had free time to explore during the day. At times it was challenging to engage people when there weren't many people in the hostel. Overall, it was fun meeting international people and building connections with great employees and other volunteers. It would be nice to have a little more training prior to starting the first shift, but after a couple shifts it is understood what all needs to be completed and how. :)

Volunteering in TricTrac was fun and calm. The team and the guests were very friendly, and the nights spent playing instruments, card games, trivia, and singing karaoke created lasting memories. Socializing is important during bar shifts, but it never felt like work. If anything, it was a great way to make new friends. In addition, working in the evening made it manageable to do day trips to Pompeii and to the Amalfi Coast. I 100% recommend this hostel!

My experience at the hostel was everything I expected, and everything went great. I met many interesting people, we shared good moments, great food, and amazing experiences. It was fun and I really enjoyed it, especially as it was my first time working in a hostel. Everyone treated me very well, they were patient and always gave me time to explore the city. I feel we made a great team that managed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all the guests who stayed there!
