The Experience

Goals: 1- Implement an agroforestry system in pasture areas and construct a small house at a very low cost using only recycled materials from the region, such as pallets, eucalyptus, clay, and grass. 2- Use the acquired experience to collaboratively develop a bioconstruction model that can be distributed free of charge to the local community. This will allow the community to learn from our mistakes and successes a replicate the acquired knowledge

At the project you'll be doing exactly as is advertised: bio-construction & farming. I learned a lot about nature, it's cycles, it's way of providing, it's needs. After just two days I learned how to make yoghurt, local cheese, sour cream and sour bread. I lived a lot on terms of nature: got up at sunrise, did the work outside, ate only organic, local products. I had the afternoons off for checking out the surrounding, by foot or by bike. In your free days you can go to the close-by local parcs. All the information given by Palmas. A place for lovers of being outside! Thanks a lot Palmas!

There are loads of things to do, not one day is the same. It's great to tag along to meet the neighbours and enjoy the surrounding nature and the site is beautiful.

🙏🏽❤️ ), apresentou-me pessoas da vizinhança, compartilhou saberes, dividiu tarefas...
