I had a great experience volunteering at the organization. The other volunteers were very relaxed and friendly, and we shared many activities together, which made the time even more enjoyable. The children at the local school are amazing, and I am confident that teaching them English will open up valuable opportunities for their future. Codo del Pozuzo is a small authentic Peruvian town surrounded by beautiful nature.

Volunteering with the organization in Codo del Pozuzo was a transformative experience. Teaching English to locals enhanced my leadership and creativity, while cultural immersion with a local family broadened my perspective. Exploring waterfalls and birdwatching added adventure. I met incredible volunteers along the way and highly recommend this to anyone seeking nature, culture, and meaningful impact.

My time teaching English at the organization was unforgettable! The kids were so fun to teach, the other volunteers have become life friends, and you do so many incredible outings in the Amazon! Christian is fantastic help for anything you need! Dora & Hans and well as their children are the absolute best and are great at helping with anything you could need. They are also awesome at being flexible with plans! I extended my stay by 3 weeks because I love it here so much!! I honestly would love to stay longer! I have lots of tips if you plan to come here so message me if you have questions:)

There are major problems that need to be addressed. The information provided beforehand is not up to date. The location indicated on Worldpackers is wrong, there is no german teaching, no english teaching for higher classes and it is frustrating to see how volunteers arrive with a small surprise. We also never met the host in person and was giving instructions through WhatsApp, failing to notice our problems and complaints. The trips however were amazing and the deal is fair, yet it feels more like a tour company than it being a non profit organization. I hope for good changes in the future.

My experience at the organization was a bit different than I expected. Because of the pictures on the profile, you might get the impression, that there are a lot of international travellers and that there are a lot of things to do. However, in my case, this did not correspond to reality. I've been living alone in the cabin for allmost weeks and it was quite boring. In Codo there was not much to do and I often felt lonely and useless during this project. However, Christian always had an open ear for my problems and was very collaborative. Also Hans and Dora are very kind and caring people.

I absolutely loved volunteering for the organization! When I arrived in Codo del Pozuzo, I was picked up by Dora and I directly felt welcomed. Dora, Hans and Wolfgang are wonderful people who were always there when we needed help. I was amazed how they integrated us into their life and showed us the local culture. Organizing and giving the English classes was a lot of fun and the kids were very eager to learn. On the weekends, we went on amazing adventures, like camping in the Amazonian jungle and going swimming. This was definitely one of my favorite experiences during my travels.

The kids at school were really engaging, loving and willing to learn, By the time I left I felt like I had a whole new community of friends with incredible experiences. We were provided with our own rooms and all basic essentials

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Codo del Pozuzo. After being greeted by the wonderful Dora, & being shown to my room, it quickly became a home away from home! Christian & the host family there incl. Dora, Hans & Wolfgang were eager to get us involved in the activities we were able to do there, all of which were amazing & unforgettable trips. Teaching the children 4 days a week was a rewarding & collaborative experience, where all of us volunteers worked together to create a lesson plan each day in a fun & interactive way. Highly recommend if you'd like to immerse yourself in a new culture!

Christian immediately made me feel welcome. In Codo Del Posuzo, where we stayed, Dora was super helpful and kind in helping with any issues we had or with anything we needed. You will never be without the help you need. The work included 2 classes per day, 1.5 hours each. 1 with children, and one with teenagers and adults. This work is very rewarding and the students will really appreciate you. I had a good social experience in Codo, with 5 other volunteers to share the experience with. The 3 free days are full of exploration of the Jungle and Pampa in the area. Super fun.
