I had an incredible time volunteering at the organization for two months. I loved living with the other volunteers/interns and made some great friends. I really enjoyed the weekend trips to different nearby places and definitely felt immersed in the local culture. My Spanish improved so much with all the practice I got! Teaching at the school was a challenge but was also fun and rewarding. The kids were amazing but you definitely need at least some Spanish skills since their English is very basic (same with most people in the town). Overall I made some amazing memories and would definitely recommend!

Estuve un mes realizando el voluntariado en SemillasLife y debo decir que mi experiencia fue asombrosa, estuvo totalmente acorde a mis expectativas e incluso las superó. Conocí gente increíble, tanto del pueblo como a otros voluntarios. Codo es un pueblo pequeño con gente muy trabajadora, honesta y muy amable. Hay varias actividades que puedes hacer. Nostrs íbamos a la piscina Sol de Codo, a la plaza a bailar con la gente local, jugábamos voleyball con ellos, fuimos un par de veces a jugar billar, nos íbamos al río, a ver las estrellas, jugábamos cartas en la casa, etc... Recomendado 1000%

I had a great experience volunteering at the organization. The other volunteers were very relaxed and friendly, and we shared many activities together, which made the time even more enjoyable. The children at the local school are amazing, and I am confident that teaching them English will open up valuable opportunities for their future. Codo del Pozuzo is a small authentic Peruvian town surrounded by beautiful nature.

My time teaching English at the organization was unforgettable! The kids were so fun to teach, the other volunteers have become life friends, and you do so many incredible outings in the Amazon! Christian is fantastic help for anything you need! Dora & Hans and well as their children are the absolute best and are great at helping with anything you could need. They are also awesome at being flexible with plans! I extended my stay by 3 weeks because I love it here so much!! I honestly would love to stay longer! Mi experiencia en la organización fue muy buena! Hasta me resultó difícil irme. Hans, Dora y su familia son personas muy amables con un gran corazón, siempre están procurando que uno esté cómodo y contento. There are major problems that need to be addressed. The information provided beforehand is not up to date. The location indicated on Worldpackers is wrong, there is no german teaching, no english teaching for higher classes and it is frustrating to see how volunteers arrive with a small surprise. We also never met the host in person and was giving instructions through WhatsApp, failing to notice our problems and complaints. The trips however were amazing and the deal is fair, yet it feels more like a tour company than it being a non profit organization. I hope for good changes in the future.

My experience at the organization was a bit different than I expected. Because of the pictures on the profile, you might get the impression, that there are a lot of international travellers and that there are a lot of things to do. However, in my case, this did not correspond to reality. I've been living alone in the cabin for allmost weeks and it was quite boring. In Codo there was not much to do and I often felt lonely and useless during this project. However, Christian always had an open ear for my problems and was very collaborative. Also Hans and Dora are very kind and caring people.
