The Experience

Depending on what you are good at and happy to help with we are very flexible! though this position does require at least 5 hours of hard work per day so if you are not willing or able to actively work for 5 hours per day then this position is probably not for you... We need people to help out with cleaning common areas, general maintenance, gardening, assisting in building natural structures, and or help with childcare

Let me start with the location. It was mindblowing on seeing the beauty of Bijagua. It's a beautiful mountain with rainforests and a tranquil rural location. This experience was already mind-blowing just with the amazing location with a lot of things to do and day trips nearby. The host was excellent in communication, instructions were clear and arrival was smooth. The facilities are well maintained and exactly as described. The lunch was amazing. Sleeping and bedding arrangements were comfortable. Experienced the traditional sweat lodge here as well. Highly recommended.

It’s hard to find the words to describe my time at Echoes of Light. This was definitely a life changing experience that I will cherish and keep in my heart forever. Not only were Val and the family the best hosts but they really made me feel at home. I learned so much about caring for children, working with the different plants and most importantly on myself. I am grateful of what I learned and experienced during my stay. Believe me, everything is made out of love to keep your mind, body an and spirit happy (especially the food, YUM)! I highly recommend this magical place. Thank you again❤️

To start, Valerie was a great communicator in setting up my stay and helping me find a bus to the pick up location (and back to the airport). My stay at Echoes of Light was one I will never forget. It was an honor to contribute to their community and I felt welcomed as part of the family. A nurturing experience living on their beautiful land and I hope to return someday!

Echoes of Light is a special space that resonates at the frequency of unconditional love and divine truth. This is a unique experience that allows you to live in a community setting, participate in ceremony, learn about different cultures and a new way of life. Here you will have the opportunity to share your creative niche and contribute to this space in many different ways. From the beautiful nature, the delicious home cooked meals, the company/hospitality of the family and meeting volunteers from all over the globe, I truly can’t say enough good things about my experience. Thank you Val!!

This was truly a wonderful experience was for me! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to volunteer here and be part of such a beautiful community. Val, her family and everyone I met were truly magical - whether it was the delicious home-cooked meals that were provided, the ceremonies that I was able to take part in or the moments in between, it was all so special to be a part of. I would recommend this experience if you are seeking to deepen your connection with yourself, heart and nature. Also, if you are wanting to focus on your healing in community, this is the place to do so <3
