My time at Echos of Light was such a beautiful experience! If you are looking to connect with yourself & spend time in nature this is the place to be! The family was very giving & kind to me during my stay! They all work so hard to keep this place as magical as it is especially lauren who is so attentive to the volunteers there! I’m lucky to have had an opportunity to experience such a beautiful place & make deep connections to other volunteers! Can’t wait to see them again! 🥰

My experience at echoes of life was unbelievable. Everyone around the retreat is incredibly friendly and open-hearted. Valerie and Lauren really give you the feeling of a comfortable surrounding directly after you arrive. And you shouldn’t miss one of their medical plant ceremonies, totally life changing and helpful for everyone who’s on his/her spiritual journey. ✌🏼

My experience at Echoes of life was beautiful and sweet. The house is located in a wonderful area, surrounded by nature, where the energy is very peaceful and welcoming.
From the beginning everyone was very warm and helpful with me. All the information was very clear and the hours of work where respected. I was taking care of the children, mostly playing and going for walks with them. They are super sweet and easy going. I had the opportunity to take part in the ceremonies they held, which was a great experience.
I had a wonderful time here, and I highly recommend it!

First of all, I miss echoes of light already (and I just left). The location is nothing I have ever experienced before. You are completely immersed in nature. I am so grateful Val and her family willingly open their doors for people to experience this amazing way of life. Beautiful family, amazing food, great connections. In particular, I connected with the other volunteers and a lot with Lauren, she’s open and extremely caring. I had lots of great conversations with her. I left feeling more at peace and in harmony with myself. I am already planning on when I can return.

From the start, Val was easy to get in contact with and to answer any questions about the stay or to help out with bus information. The property is beautiful and very grounding, perfect for anyone who is looking to be immersed in nature. The work feels impactful because you are helping to care for her three beautiful children and then the rest of your time is yours to do whatever you please, whether it’s walking around the little mountain village or swimming in the river. I highly recommend this stay, as Val and her family were incredibly welcoming. Val also makes the best lunches (:
