The Experience

It was a great experience where you learn about permaculture and sustainability. It was not very structured/scheduled, which leaves more space for flexibility in planning etc. so it just depends on your intentions for the stay. Really nice to be get to know Diego and his family, really was like a home away from home. Amazing new experience and more than I could ask for. Very flexible with arrival and departure too!

Diogo, Paloma and their family made me feel at home and as if I was there all my life. They are passionate about nature and the project they are building up. They try to teach you and help you in any task you want to do. Plus they shared a lot of info about nature and wildlife that was new to me as I was always in the city. The place and area is amazingly beautiful and very comfortable. You have lunch with them and some fun events at night with them too. like sharing dishes of your own country or just having a relax chat This was my first volunteer experience and it has been amazing!!!

The two weeks we spend at Neo@Rural were so amazing! Paloma and Diogo are new on Worldpackers but they organized this so well! They do really care about the volunteers well-being. You can really feel the lifeblood at this place! The variety of tasks was very huge! I wanted to try all of them, for everybody is a task to find. When we were not working, we spent our freetime in the beautiful casinha and enjoyed the nature with its view! Thank you so much again! We will come back one day :)

WOOOW!! Where should I start? It was a truely insane experience🤩The hosts Paloma and Diogo are extrem friendly and great, inspiring personalities! The location in very big and we had a small house for the volunteers. It is a great house with all the staff you need. Also the work was great and always different. So let us choose what we like to do the most.🥳THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for this really nice time together. We came as volunteers and left as friends❤️
