I learnt about the hospitality they have with their guests, the way they create a sociable environment for people to feel closer to one another. I could witness the commitment every member of the team have with providing the best experience to the guests and that inspired me to also put my heart into it. I loved every task, from making beds to hanging out with the guests. I met wonderful people which were those in the team and the other volunteers. I was able to visit the nearby countries and learn more about Latvian's culture and history. I had such a fun time and I recommend this experience

I had an amazing time at the hostel. It was my first time doing this kind of job, so I was pretty nervous beforehand, but I felt very welcomed from day one and everything is explained to you clearly. Hours are respected and requests for the schedule are always taken into account. I love everyone who works here and Riga has become a second home for me. Huge thanks to the team that gave me the opportunity to do my first volunteering ever. Doing things for the first time might be challenging, but I felt supported by staff members at all times, which for me is much appreciated. I had lots of fun during my time in Riga and if it wasn't because I have already assumed other compromises I would have loved to stay longer there. One of the best parts for me is the concept the hostel has on how to make guests experience better. The active role we play towards that goal is not only a rewarding job but also gives us the opportunity to make good friends

The whole the hostel staff Team was great. Everybody was friendly, open and communicativ. They are super nice people and I had an awesome time with them. The task were exactly what agreed upon, they were super flexible with working times and the work was always very fast over. The atmosphere in the hostel is incredible. I never visited a hostel with such a social and outgoing and friendly enviroment. You got to know International travellers everyday and i made a lot of friends from around the world.I loved everyday here. Thank you, Julius, Arta, Linda, Sabine, Tina and Agnese

This was my first exchange so I was unsure what to expect but my experience at the hostel's surpassed all my expectations. The staff are all incredible to work with, welcoming from the first day, respecting any days off when creating the work schedule. In particular I have to mention Linda who above all made my experience in Riga one I won't ever forget. The hostel is also a fantastic place to live, with a homely atmosphere and a social common area, it's no surprise that it has so many great reviews. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone on world packers and will miss everyone!!!

This experience was truly amazing. It was my first volunteering experience and I had no idea what I should have been expecting, but this place has overcome all my expectations. The hostel and the people who work there are great, I truly felt welcomed since day 1. All tasks and shifts are respected, Julius always asks if we have any wishes for the working schedule and he tries everything he can to respect them. I'll miss this place like crazy!

I really had a great time in Cinamon, specifically cause of Chris who made me feel very comfortable. The hostel amenities it's perfect, the work is not that hard and the room is very comfortable, it could be better if the hosts remeber the staff to keep everything clean and tidy, cause there was some dirty clothes all over t'floor and the smell was really bad. I made nice connections with some of the staffs, Agnes for example its very lovable. The owner in the other hand was very aggressive two times and that's why I decided to leave earlier. He needs grow up and treat people with more respect

My experience at the hostel was a 10/10. I can definitely say I have a home in Riga now. The atmosphere in the hostel is lovely, the town is magical around Christmas time, and the best thing of it all is the whole CS team 💙 Everyone is like family to me now, so sweet and supportive. I felt welcome right away. The tasks were easy and the hours were always respected. Paula was also super flexible when I asked for specific days off in order to be able to travel a bit and explore the region. Thank you so much for an amazing experience! 🤩✨
