I really enjoyed my time at this place in Coquimbo. My friend and I sent our application last minute (two days before arriving), and the host was quick to respond and plan out what we could help out with around the place which was mostly housekeeping and cleaning, and the entire family was super nice and welcoming.

This experience has been truly amazing. The family is open-minded and friendly. Even though the stay was only a week I felt very welcome. Furthermore it's a great place to practice Spanish if you know a little in advance. I have learned a lot about the language and culture here. My travel companion and I didn't help with the construction but we had tasks such as cleaning the house. It was flexible and we had a lot of time to do other things than work. The food was delicious every day and we had our own spacious room and bathroom. I would definitely recommend this place.☀️
