This is one of my favorite experiences to date! Emilia is so incredibly kind & caring. She really goes above and beyond to help her students succeed and to help you feel welcome. My time at Lingo Language center and with her is definitely a highlight of my time in Colombia. If you're looking to immerse yourself in local culture, work on your Spanish, and make a difference teaching English - this is the experience for you! I've definitely made a lifelong friend :)

I spent 1 month at Lingo and it was amazing! I worked with recording & editing videos, creating advertising pieces and creating content for the institution's social medias. I also participated in some English classes talking about my travel experience & about my country, Brazil. Emilia is an incredible host, always happy and available to help. Her family also received me very well. The city of Paipa is also welcoming. I intend to come back soon. I recommend who wants to learn new languages (such as English, French and German) and to anyone who wants to be in contact with the real colombian :)
