The Experience

We are seeking one volunteer to help with the reception and housekeeping duties at our new hostel in Monterrey, Mexico. Our hostel is located in the historic center so it is close to everything you need. If you love hiking, this is a great opportunity to set up for a while and hike/ climb on your days off.

  • Between 18 and 45 years old
  • Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

I had a very good time at the hostal and the staff was very nice, supportive and helpful. All of them were great and got along with them very well. They tasks very easy to fullfill and the time table allowed me to explore the city the hostelquality time. The hostal is well located and it was easy to meet new people. The atmosphere at thethethe the hostelwas great. I would do it again. The boss Armando and the hostelcolleague Laura and Diana were great to work with and always there for me.

I had a great time at thisthethe hostel. Since arriving, everyone was super welcoming and very helpful! The tasks were simple and it was easy to meet other volunteers and travellers. This was the hostelfirst experience with WP and it was a great choice. Juan, Armando and Laura were very sweet and accommodating. Will definitely come back when I am able to!

Volunteering the hostelwas a great experience. The tasks were easy, just working at the reception desk. Some of the reception work is at night so that is something to be aware of. Armando and Juan were very welcoming and really made me feel like a localthethethe hostel. This is a great opportunity to practice your Spanish as the majority of the guests are Mexican. the hostelis a quieter city but is very beautiful and the weekends are bumpin'. Thethethe the hostelis the hostela great location and you an easily walk to a lot of food, bars, and museums. I will certainly be back to visitthethethe hostel!

I really enjoyed the hosteltime at thisthethe hostel! Juan was a great host, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Located the hostela great part ofthethethe hostel. It was cool getting to meet guests from around the world. the hostelis a very underrated city, with lots to do. Thethethe the hostelis very new, and I'm excited to see how it grows. Met a lot of nice people while staying here. Was really happy to help!
